Last night, i can not sleep and end up on your instagram account. Right away, i search your youtube and I made my first collage last night!!! I am so happy and can go to sleep at 4 a.m. :D THIS MORNING i woke and made a DIY tutorial video, about this cute Matchbook - Collage Strip Pull-Outs , in Indonesian language (yes, i am from Indonesia :)). Hopefully there will be so many people will re-use their ephemera paper to something cute like this... I am so happy to see your post in instagram and thank you that you make this video! these are all things I've gathered over the years from penpals, stationery shops and travel! :) i'll do a vintage ephemera video for this week's journal with me video to answer your request! keep posted for that one!

LOVE your videos on this technique - roll too :) Question: How do you use the actual collages if they are glued to your strips? Do you cut them or tear them off and then glue to your page, or do you pull them off the strip before using? If you don't glue items to the edges, I'm not sure, but it would seem that you just put the whole collage with it's edges not necessarily filled onto your paper.

The ones i made on waxpaper, easily peels off. See 5:02 in the video. As for the ones on regular paper, I can't peel them off because they're glued on. You can use the collages as ephemera by tearing or cutting around them. It'a really up to you really. I think of them as washi strips to emebelish or decorate pages.
