Base Code: J46 (produced 46th week of 2016)
Matchbox continues their fun adventuristic models with this case unboxing but only 11 out of the 24 samples were licensed vehicles. Young Matchbox fans will still enjoy the play value as they create their own adventures with these fun toys. The non-licensed models, known as Matchbox Originals, are focused on "realism" and "realistic" for fantasy and imaginative play time.
Here are some highlights from this case unboxing video:

Toyota Tacoma (with tent/camper)
'52 Hudson Hornet
Ford GT-40
Toyota Prius Taxi (with taxi light)
Bonus Content:
The Toyota Prius Taxi now has a taxi light bar.
Ford E-350 Ambulance previous releases including when it had a metal cab.
MBX Moving Van is one of my favorites to collect especially when they are 'logo' cars! This model still retains it's moving feature.
With another submarine in the Matchbox toys lineup, I take a look at some other Matchbox submarines.

Nice to see new stuff coming up to the channel.Variety is important to keep interest. Love the '15 Corvette Stingray, the black Range Rover Evoque, The yellow Prius Taxi and even the Petrol Pumper looks great. Matchbox definitely has some really nice castings this year.Now, if only they could improve the brittle blister plastics...

We're looking forward to seeing the new show formats you're bringing out in 2017. The 2017 MBX C case had a lot of good models in it, and we'll be looking for several to add to our collections. I was also surprised about the new submarine casting (Sub Seeker) given Deep Diver was a fairly recent release. It was interesting seeing the comparison of older castings from your collection against the new versions too. Thanks for the informative and entertaining video =)

Thankx for posting the Matchbox unboxings! Matchbox isn't found with frequency around here so it's nice to see whats coming out before it hits here. Matchbox has really stepped up their product in my opinion over the last couple of years.

Really like the Evoque, looks great in all black, almost like a mafia car :P As for the Corvette, Polizei is German but I don't think the german police uses Corvettes. I'm sure they'd rather drive a big Benz, Audi, Porsche or BMW 😉 Also glad to see another new realistic model, the 500x, it's an SUV/off-road model of the 500. There's also a 500L wich is just a larger estate/suv kinda 500 (that's what the pope drove when he went to the US). The 500x casting looks good tho, looking forward to more color variations of that one ☺

I'm looking forward to re-colors of the Fiat as well. I couldn't find my vintage Matchbox Fiat 1500 in time for the video but I have since found it. I hope to remember to show it on The Weekend Show. If somebody reminds me, that helps...

The Fiat 500x is a four-door, wheras the Hot Wheels Fiat 500 is a two-door. And i have a strange feeling of deja-vu about that, lol.

Interesting to note Matchbox are using a combination of 2016 and 2017 style cards for their 2017 series release. Matchbox have relocated their numbering to the left side of the card for their 2017 release models and others have the 2016 style with their numbering on the right side. Is this just Matchbox using up old stock. At the beginning of the 2016 release Matchbox produced transitional cards using a combination of old and new style.

I feel as thow matchbox gets a bumb rap when compared to hot wheels and i have got to admit that with some models i preffer matchbox! Like the newish green Gt 40 the brown 75 or 76 firebird and a challenger that recently purchased with head & tail lights
