The Ferrari looks absolutely gorgeous, this is one of a very few early matchbox castings that I would like to own and everytime you build one they just look better and better. Very well done ! 🍻

I once re-did a 70's Indian Dirt Bike. I bought a product off ebay called SealLube. I used it in the crank case to recondition the seals. Found out later that it was good for reconditioning other rubber parts also. When I watched this, I thought about the tires on the Wee Ferrari! haha! The lube isn't cheap but, darned if it doesn't work great! Stay safe, stay healthy, Brother. God bless...

Lee, I love the color you did it looks great, but that is as much about the preparation you always do to the casting as it is about the paint. As you said Lesney did many color swaps for this casting but as you also know they weren't that particular in color matching paint shades where they didn't change it, so there are many shades of the same colors from one casting to the next which keeps the 'Must have one of every variation' Collectors busy :-)

Turned out real nice! Might have made the green a touch darker, myself. Maybe three drops of the smoke rather than two. I like the green that you put on it better than the original color.

ON the whole COVID thing. Over here they are actually getting car manufacturers to produce respirators.

my house calls quarantine.. Monday. we homeschool our sons who have anxiety issues with groups larger than 15 or so. all but 2 of the kids have this so we learn about 2 grade whether they can deal with public school. older ones made it till 5 grade because they went to a very small rural school with 8-10 kids a class. so nothing really has changed here. other than not being able to find foods we normally eat and the bonus of all their public school friends being home during the day too. its all normal here.
