Your little minor touches make me want to take paint to all of my HotWheels/Matchbox cars. They really make them look SO much better.

I had this one as a kid. As the previous guy stated, it reminds me of an International Scout as well. In fact thats why I got it when I was a kid. There was a Scout Commercial narrated by Tom Bosley that was always on tv at the time, and when I saw that car in K&B I had to have it. Seeing these little cars magnified on the tv screen adds a whole new dimension in which to admire them. To me, it’s even more fun than holding the real toy, because I can see every tiny detail.

EXCELLENT again, we had this type of lorry (truck) in our motor pool, made by International harvester in the army.

I like the idea of using a cocktail stick for painting in fine detail. I get the feeling (in my own case at least) it'd be easier to control than a brush. Excellent result as always!

I see the 50/50 paint thinning ratio has worked very well. Great to see. Provides a much more 'scale' finish.

Nice little model, no primer though on a yellow color, no wonder it took three coats. One little thing, the spare could have been done with a touch of red on the rim to better match. Just one mans thought. Thanks for sharing this video with me and please keep them coming in.

Nice work! I have a different version of this, the only difference is that mine doesn;t not have working steering, it's just a standard superfast base. I think it's superfast anyway. The new paint job on yours really brings out the detail Matchbox put into the casting with door handles, rear number plate, petrol caps. Nice casting.

Turned out quite spiffy! The field car has had a bit of a touch up for its age.

Looks great, I never would have thought about using a toothpick for those fine details. After watching about 90% of your videos I’m going to try one of my own soon and will definitely be using that method!

I see I'm not the only one who thinks this is a Scout 800. It looks so much like the one a friend of mine had for a plow truck. The grille looks to be something matchbox did to due to licensing issues with International. Looks great all cleaned up and painted.

Great car except for those red wheels. It came with Superfast wheels after 1968 and it looked much better! Love the yellow paint restored as done by Matchbox but would have painted the plastic rims black. Probably would have made a windscreen for it too, but that is just me going one step further.👍🏻👍🏻🍻

Nice job! I had one with a Matchbox Country Playset, unfortunately after myself, my daughter, and quite a few other kids have played with it the tow is missing. My grandchildren have no way to pull the Horse Trailer.

Great job on this one Rob, the paint came out smooth as glass! This was in prime condition for a resto, most of these you see have a damaged or missing top as well as missing tyres.
