Nice, I had such a Vauxhall in shabby condition too, I painted it white with a red roof and a brick red interior, turned out very nice IMO.

I had some difficulty hearing you at times, and possibly you could improve the sound by adding the narration afterward, so that you give a running commentary. Your voice is mild and relaxing. Just had a Victor est like yours given to me. It's been stood on both of the front pillars are bent one of the rear as well. It's twisted to one side. If I can make it half as good as yours I will be well pleased.Only going to try having seen the car you repair that came in two. Love yor work

Great Resto on a nice little model, I have 6 of these and a couple of them need extensive repair which will be a nice challenge. A couple of them also have the red interior which seems harder to find so keep an eye out on your searches to grab one and compliment your top resto.

Great job Rob! Don't know if it would translate to model paints or not, but a friend of mine was a vehicle spray painter years ago and even though he always thoroughly cleaned his spray gun after use he used to spray a bit of straight thinner through the gun before he started using it again the next time. Not sure if that will prevent the splatter issue, but couldn't hurt to try 1 or 2 mills of thinner through the airbrush before you paint just to see if it does make a difference.

Hi Rob, I am just starting a small collection of Matchbox cars, so I am wondering if there are two different models of the No 38 Vauxhall Victor Estate Car? Maybe there is a 38A and a 38B version because of the green (your model) and the red (my model) interior and the different wheel colours (your model black, my model grey)? BTW: Nice restoration! Great colour match. I love these late 1950s early 1960s models.
