Hi Rob, just a quick FYI, that spare tire cover is referred to as a Continental kit here in the States. I like the larger ones because you can get a little bit more detail into them. I like your term "slurry."

These are way better than drinking at a pub but not as good as family time. Hopefully some of these make it to your kids. Thanks for sharing!

Beauttiful restoration work on.this 1957 Ford Thunderbird....this is the car actor Robert Urich used to drive on the TV show Las Vegas....he played detective Dan Tanna...the car was red in color I remember....an American Classic for sure...unfortunately, they don't make cars and TV shows like they used to anymore....thank you for bringing old toy cars back to life....amazing skills...I really enjoy watching your videos. My wife's Uncle Bill had a 1963 Ford Thunderbird hardtop in a metallic grey. Beautiful job!

I would give all the things i own to have this on my shelf in my bedroom, and to wake up and see it there every morning would mean the world to me, that is an awesome looking car model, and I'd love to have it.

Totally awesome. You really did a great job on that T-Bird. The windscreen looks spotless. I do like the color. It adds some class to that particular year. I am a fan of Ford's made in the late 30's and the Thunderbirds from their inception to the early to mid 60's. That Thunderbird would look great on a shelf in my living room!! Another great video!

This definitely brought back the memory that I have of owning one of these Corgi Thunderbirds. I actually had two of them, I bought the second one (well, it was bought for me) because I dropped the first one and chipped the paint horribly on the nose. These scale cars are great, I have a great Rover 5000, Ford Sierra, BMW 325i and Mercedes 190.E somewhere. I should send them all to you to make over. Only issue I have with this custom... I am not a huge fan of the color choice, but that is personal preference.

That is just the sort of color you'd have seen on a car from that era, I think it was a good choice! Really nice detail work, as always! That continental kit was an expensive option you don't see very often, I'm happy to see they included it on this toy!
