Haha come on Paro, I was shocked after seeing the odds especially after what Paro had done to Montana Love. Matias was known for being a power puncher but Paro not really been hurt before. I put £25 on Paro to win £130. Even when Paro was like 6 rounds ahead going into Round 10 I was scared he was gonna be robbed, live odds had Matias as a -2500 fave at the end of round 9. Wish I'd put even more on Paro now.

Truth is, he got caught up in the limelight. As is, press leading up to the fight sucks and takes up a lot of time. He was very excited to be performing at home, everyone wanted a piece of his attention, and he spread himself too thin with his time instead of staying focused in prep leading in. He did more press, including social media interviews in that period than 3 fights combined. He was emotionally drained, and in his mind, this fight was in the bag and was already moving into the next 2 without concentrating on the NOW! Same thing happened with AJ/Anthony Joshua's first time in the states, did a ton of press, more than usual, ton of face time, less prep time. I saw that in AJ bet against him and won big. Fortunately, I did the same here. Wanted Matias but had to bet against him, knowing he was doing the exact same thing, and he did. Just like anything else, this is a job that needs your full attention in order to have the follow through. He didn't. To top it off, this job, in my opinion, requires a lot more than the average. Plain and simple. Paro came prepared, did his home work. We all know Matias is open to taking hits and Paro capitalized on his weakness

I'm surprised how the commentators say that the point deduction for hitting in the back of the head was uncalled for, the referee warned Paro officially by walking over and advising coaches and fighter about Liam's hit to the back of the head in front of the referee as he was breaking the two fighters apart...a cheap shot used often by Liam along with sticking his glove out in front of Subriel Matias face, an act the ref did nothing about in short Liam used cheap shots and illegal tactics to win.
