love the fact that its an LEP with flood leds..but the switching and no memory function is a big turn off for me..having to cycle all way round ....perhaps a split switch between lep and the led and memory function would be nice..

Thanks for the review. With this control, you have to press the button so many times, I think this is the weakest point of this flashlight.

I just got this light in today, and I agree the ui is kinda funky but you don’t have to physically click the tail switch to cycle through the modes. You can half press instead of a full on click to cycle through and then when you get to the desired output, you can then fully click the switch and it will stay in whatever mode you are on. (Hope that makes sense lol)

@@hayden1590 I also received today and confirm what you say. You can go to LEP with 2 quick taps from OFF. Too bad she doesn't have the memory, but at least they could put it.

Interesting xlamp choice, probably to squish them in around the aspheric. The cost is probably 90% the lep as well. Sad the UI isnt as compact as the design.

For compact size and price go FW3 for performance and features go P35i

Another thing to consider, not only does the P35i cost over twice as much as the FW3, the battery is not a standard 21700 battery. It is the Nitecore version which is the NL 2150hpi and costs $26.00. Just like Nitcore did with my P20i..it's required to use the light, you cannot use a standard 21700 in either if these lights because of Nitecore's Intelligent battery system, what a ripoff!. They are even selling used ones for $20 on their site. I will stick with the FW3.

il n'y a rien de tactique dans cette flaslight à part sa forme , le nombre de clics qu'il à fallut pour changer de modes différentes fois ne peut pas être pratique pour une tactilight , par contre pour une lep , c'est vraiment pas mal d'avoir le choix entre thrower et flood , ou les deux en même temps , d'avoir oublié de mettre le mode mémoire implique que cela est très énervant à force de changer constamment de modes comme ça , rien que le fait de l'avoir vu cliquer une dizaine de fois pour chercher le mode voulu , cela m'a vite soulé 😄👍

I cannot stand a UI that involves clicking on and off. That's something belonging on a cheap ebay special.

Nice looking light but don’t think I could handle all that clicking. EDIT: Just saw what they were asking for it. Definitely not worth it with that ui.
