Use acetone - nail polish remover to clean your brushes. You can use the mixed dough for half an hour . Be aware the clay gradually starts becoming hard so after some time its difficult to mould it in design

I would suggest to use acrylic colors as the texture comes out to be good. It's a wooden piece so I doubt how poster color will stick on it. Never tried them .

Faber castell round and flat brushes depending on the area u are painting. It mostly depends on how much space u need to paint according choose size and type of brush. I hope you find this information helpful. Let me know if u need more.😊
