She’s such an inspiration. Love hearing stories like this where someone hits the cultural wave just right and makes smart decisions that will keep her financially secure for life. All whilst still being so young, must feel great for her and her family to know that even if it all ended tomorrow, they will be fine (not that it will because Matilda is smart and knows how to pivot, but you get my drift, she’s had more success in these few years than most people do in a lifetime.)

Wow, what a totally awe-inspiring interview. Thank you so much for sharing your story so authentically, Matilda! Your dedication to the credibility of your creative process is truly honorable, and I couldn't agree more with regards to the real need for raw realness in a world of fake, overly "enhanced" social media we're all terribly tired of scrolling through. Cheers and best wishes to you and the soaring success of your incredible, self-funded brand! Thank you so much for inspiring me today!

no wonder she made that much with the prices of her clothes, £99 for a recycled basic cotton grey jumper. £129 for a basic grey long sleeve flowy top, £50 for a polyester bikini. insane.

It’s all sustainable isn’t it? That’s why.
@1xalexandrax1
@1xalexandrax1 Жыл бұрын
@@AKAS-xx3nr her brand is not sustainable. polyester clothing is neither sustainable or eco friendly. dropping clothing collections every two weeks is not sustainable at all. Their fibers are from Tanzania and Turkey, shipped 5000+km and 3000+km to Pakistan, to have the fabric woven, shipping that fabric 7000km to Portugal to sew the item, shipping to Sweden (another 3000km) to their warehouse to finally have it shipped to customers, that is not a sustainable company. there are even numerous reviews and reports of their clothing being poor quality. Many people have complained how terrible customer service is too. their branding is also bad bc they use 'fear of missing out' and it’s just another gimmick to get people to impulsively buy, sustainable brands do not do this at all. she makes millions while the people actually making the clothes are barley paid minimum wage. her brand is nothing but fast fashion with a high end price tag using greenwashing marketing.

I was really hoping for this to be a great interview, unfortunately the interviewer is all over the place with his questions, no ability to connect a storyline to his questions. Incredibly boring - not her, I feel like we could have learnt a lot from her story, but his questions were so surface level.
@candaceroo
@candaceroo Жыл бұрын
Just seemed like your questions weren’t deep enough and you wouldn’t fully ask the question and trail off and let the guest speak freely. So it just felt a little all over the place and hard to follow. All the questions seemed like a variation of the question prior.
@candaceroo
@candaceroo Жыл бұрын
15:31 ex: “Did you make any mistakes?” I feel that this question is obvious - any entrepreneur will experience mistakes. Maybe a better question would have been “What’s the biggest mistake you made when you were 3 months in?” Or “What mistake was the most pivotal for your brand in the early stages?”
@candaceroo
@candaceroo Жыл бұрын
17:13 Perhaps it was just this particular guest that you weren’t interested in which is why it feels messy. But earlier in the video she said her followers are predominately US - but you ask her the same question again here. It just feels like you aren’t genuinely listening or interested in her story. Not being critical - just trying to give back genuine feedback x
