The theatre looks amazing I’ve seen this twice the scrabble letters on The wooden plate things that surrounds the stage looks amazing, my Family whilst waiting for the show to start try and find as many Words as we can on the scrabble tiles

i just got a callback for the role of Matilda in a community theatre production (The Muni in Illinois which i think is somehow related to the Muny in St. Louis) and i’m so excited! I’m the only one who i know of who auditioned as an adult (i’m 14 but very small & young looking but i’m too old to audition as a kid) who got a callback for Matilda!

Anyone who is 12+ cannot be in Matilda I’m the west end. You also have to be 4 foot 5 or less to be Matilda. I got a callback for Matilda but could go because I was too tall. Don’t apply if you are too tall as you will be let down, the process is strict and hard. Just to let you know!

I realise I am a bit late, but I recommend trying out for an agency or specific talent agent. They will focus on your best skills and get you jobs that suit you, my agent has gotten me a number of west end roles so I think this is a good way to go.

It ran on Broadway from April 11, 2013 to Jan 1, 2017 at the Shubert. Unlikely that it would return any time soon.
