I loved his game coming out of college and was pumped when the Sixers picked him, but he's even exceeded my expectations. He could win multiple DPOY awards.

No doubt. He’s gonna have to figure out the offensive side of his game though if he wants to be on the court long enough to be considered.

His activity on defense is insane. Those feet are reading cutting lanes that arent even there yet before they happen. He Doesnt Jump When Forcing An Opponent Sideline Out Of Bounds (??) - His recovery from being beat and getting back into position or at least contesting is incredible.

3:23 I really like this play, he already took two steps before the ball even neared Westbrook. He played that so "open" as well, behind the perimeter and making Monk think he had a passing lane.

@@nickz5986 I don't believe that Dame can't unlock some offense out of Matisse T. We have a reputation as a team that unlock players offense. We need him more for his best skill anyhow. But I believe there's some ability there that's not been seen yet, he's still young.

Crazy instincts, anticipation, and quick hands. I hope Portland doesn't match especially with the Dame situation going on and resigning Grant to a huge deal. We need to always carry on the Shawn Marion, Finney Smith tradion of lanky, thin built, quick, hustling defenders. If D Live and O Max develop within the next 2 years, we will become a great defensive squad. Especially if we can manage to keep Bullock, Kleber, and Green. If Thybulle can inprove his corner 3s on the DFS level man... I hope the salary cap wizard we stole from Brooklyn did his homework. My Mavs with the addition of Niko, Cent as CEO, Finley, Dudley, Luka's recruiting, an awesome draft turning 1 pick into 3 needed players, reunion with Seth Curry, Exam at 6'6" and hungry to replace Nilakina, adding 3 new assitant coaches, the development of Green and Hardy, the involvement of Tyson Chandler as a mentor... I gotta say, my boys have put in A TON of work this off season. My dream lineup would be 5/Holmes, 4/C Wood, 3/Thybulle, 2/Kyrie, 1/Luka. Off the bench... Green, Hardy, Bullock, Kleber, Curry, D Live, O Max, Powell. The most COMPLETE team in the league.

could definitely use him, our perimeter defense would be so much better with him, on offense he could rim run and play within the offense as a cutter/playmaker.

That's why the Sixers drafted him. He's a defensive liability who can shoot, but shooting isn't his main skill.

That's why the Sixers have Maxey. Maxey can play defense & shoot from pretty much anywhere. Mattise can shoot, but shooting isn't what he's known for.
