Where do I start! Brilliant piece, even more brilliantly played. The range, the skips , the everything was unbelievable. The technicalities of this piece and the way it was played is historical! It's almost humorous to think about the invitation to download and play along on this one....I can think of maybe 2 people on earth who would be able to play this incredible piece! The musicality expressed by this piece is beyond amazing! Bravo, my friend!!

I'm mesmerized by how amazing you played this piece. I've been playing euphonium for around 5 years now, and you are the player I look up to most. As a ex eupho player I must say for sheer technique this is outstanding. Wonderful playing. As a piece of music, on the other hand it is dreadful. Virtuosity for the sake of it is a tick box exercise. Playing great music with soul is how you are going to remembered

I listened to this arrangement more than 20 times by now, just to be able to grasp every detail of it. As a brass player myself, i don't want to use the word talent here, as it would be an insult to the sheer determination and training you put in to reaching THAT level. The clockwork like precision while playing the fast passages, every movement you and your instrument make has purpose and nothing is random, the movement through the registers and you deliver the slow passages with such clarity, that is virtuous playing, i knew i was in for a ride hearing that jump at bar 20. Thank you so much for letting us witness this brilliant piece and playing

I haven't played the euphonium/baritone in 15 years, but I love listening to your uploads. As much as I would love to pick it up again, I have far too many commitments, but it is so wonderful being able to listen to someone as talented as yourself. I played for almost ten years in concert and marching. It brings me great warmth and nostalgia hearing such a mastery of what I aspired to be in my younger days. Learning to read music is something I will always hold near to my heart and taught me such an appreciation for the nonverbal language. Thank you for sharing!

As a former legit Euph player the hidden key is to just let it go - become part of the instrument and music - now obviously to get there you need practice - but "how to practice" - find a solo or two that is about 2 steps AHEAD of your current skill level - then just go at it measure by measure - master it - by challenging yourself to something legit difficult you will accelerate your growth - then continue on that path as long as you desire

Man, I played baritone/euphonium in middle school almost 10 years ago now. I wish they weren’t so expensive as I’ve been looking for a way to express my musical passion and piano just isn’t for me. Wish I could get on of these again!
