I love the one at 0:33! It's the classic intro with the original version of the theme, but if you pay attenton to the background, it's been updated with newer systems like PS5, Series X and Switch!

Matpat bringing back the classic intro also includes some changes in them, such as them containing modern consoles, or the obvious all 4 colors being present, due to all 4 theory channels existing now, unlike back then.

Hearing the opening for game theory… it makes me so emotional but I completely respect his decision to retire. I’ll miss his iconic voice and everything that made him so loveable!!! May the new theorists bring in a new life to the channels 🌟

I love all the theorist channels, but film theory holds a special place in my heart, cause it was the first I watched and it introduced me to the theorists. Game theory intros are amazing but the film theory intro is the one that gives me nostalgia. Im just a little sad, cause film theory is the one that felt a little neglected for some reason.

Before they decided on food and style theory, I figured book and music theory would've been great, that basically covers all medium of entertainment, and it would allow for theories on some things that never got properly adapted to film like Eregon (I've not seen the movie myself, but I know enough to know that it is a very different story from the books, to the point that a book theory on it would be warranted

Necessary evil, that he said that he would ruin our but he gave us a better one instead of ruining our childhood, but you cannot expect 68 more new matpat after 12 years he’s going to grow old and soon after those 12 years he’ll most likely passenger, so there’s a reason why he needs to pass down the torch to new people to continue on his own legacy
