So glad to see that civil engineer not only just focus on the engineering works and studies but also know how to enjoy watching anime btw THIS CONTENT IS WAY TOO CREATIVE!!!! The way u explain and combining the scene with engineering concept was so appropriate HOPE U DO MORE！

For fun: I guestimated that the diameter of the hole Deku punched through (via a gust of wind @3:58 - against Bakugo) was around 18ft. Neglecting impact effects: the nominal strength two-way punching shear capacity on an assumed 12" thick slab of 4,500 psi concrete would be around 2,000 kips for a single floor. I don't think in this case the strengths of each floor would be additive as each fails in succession. This ficticious 2,000 kip force is equivalent to nearly 8,000 psf - around double what we normally see for typical allowable soil bearing for buildings we design!

Since the time I was entering to Civil Engineering world..... It changes what I'm focusing at when watching Shounen or any fiction that include action. I'll be like.... The road! Damnit. Oh, my, the buildings! That bridge is f-ing expensive!
