I tried warp stabilizer on all the photos as a nested sequences also, didn't help much, but a fun experiment! I guess I need to buy a 180˚ camera set! :) Have you guys tried any other methods for this effect?
@mhnabin9458
@mhnabin9458 5 жыл бұрын
I guess you can achieve it with the help of AE using time remapping and stabilizing the center of the frame or your body using track motion on the precomposed footage.

I've done similar 360 rotations but in my case I was just standing in place, rotating my self by moving only my feet to rotate my upper body in front of a cheap green fabric with my phone shooting the video a few meters away and then I deleted the background in After effects and I put behind me a 360 photo and with cc environment effect applied on the background panoramic photo, I made an illusion of rotating me and the background all together 180 or whatever degrees I wanted just by using the 3d camera on after effects and by making the 3d layer of my self facing the camera so not to look flat as the camera rotating around...!

You need more frames a lot more frames, right now its just Time-lapse, you also might wanna use optical flow or frame blending, alongside with minor rotoscoping, else it won't have that 360 effects

Another suggestion if you're doing again, is using high frame rate videography or simply high frame rate photography

I think alternatively (theoretically) you could have exported your frames to .PNG, opened them in Photoshop, aligned layers. Then save all the files and open again in premiere pro. I believe Photoshop is smart enough to align even though they are from different angles, it would probably save 95% of the work.

Thanks for sharing your know how and giving a Input for my own testjumpshooting. As a one men shooter I had to rotate myself and not the DSLM. So my test is not even close as good as your output. But the shooting inkl. the videoediting and the rendering took me 1,5 hours. I made it with one continoous shooting by jumping arround and then removing the trampolin then I made a walk in with a big jump and a landing, then I cut the whole timeline during the first viewing, then I marked all the longer jumping sequences to delete them in one step. Then cut the sequence of the walk in with the high jump and paste it as first sequence. Then the same thing with the landing as last sequence. Then I cut the background where my trampolin was placed and I made this as the first videoline to cover in one step all the sequences with the Trampolin. You can see the Trampolin in the mirrored glas 🙈. Then I took a free sound from the KZfaq library and placed the Title. And here is the output of arround 1,5 hours, my editing was made in davinci resolve. You asked us in the Video to show you our results and so I place here my output: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z51ja5Zo2Ne5eIU.html

Damn, that's a lot of work!!! I thought there was some magic going on here but it is just good old fashioned elbow grease. Respect. That being said, I think you can track the legs of the trampoline in after effects with a null and invert the position. Should put the glare of the trampoline in the same spot each frame. Could save you hours!

Interesting video I enjoyed your hard work. For the full 360 effect make a separate background video without you jumping just get a complete 360 motion. Overlap a 2nd layer below where your floating for a smoother effect. For 2nd layer you have to delete background in order for this effect to work. Plus, you can be on top of an object without jumping. Just add Green screen with chroma key below to make it appear your floating. Just stand perfectly still on object in a floating way.

I think you can see that the result is not good enough. But I'm curious about the next steps you will take. By the way you can use this story to create some green screen tutorial. I think that the main problem of the first attempt was the background. It really ties up your hands in post editing.

Interesting but here's another tip I'd suggest which is a TON of editing. Shoot the 360 without person first. Mark each increment on the floor for every camera angle. Do the same thing but with a person Then on After Effects or Nuke or whatever compositing software, stitch each camera angle without the person, aligning the foreground etc. Like the edge of circular floor or bench on. Then roto the subject(person) of each camera angle with a person. Or green screen during shoot so it's easy to key, while you still have the lighting information so the compositing would mix

Sorry, I don't speak English and I'm writing this with the help of Google Translator. I found your tutorial because I'm thinking to do something like this, but positioning a lot of cell phones around a scene, and recording it using their cameras. I believe that could exist a software for making interpolation of intermediate positions, for getting a more fluid result. The main problem that I noticed with your video, is that that one jumping will be always different of another one. For finishing, let me say that I admire your patience and effort.

Then, take a rotating shot of whatever background and compose it into the greenscreen... tweak it with speed and background blur until it to looks like a smooth 360.
