In honesty, the first thing I'd do if I stepped inside the TARDIS would be to push all the buttons, crack all the levers, and flip every single switch I saw.

I was exactly the same when I visited the TARDIS! The tour was an incredible experience! The Guide was detailed and even cleared up some rumours, such as what the Gallifreyan on the rings above the console mean :3 Just being in there makes you feel like a Companion! It's fun to see the little parts of the TARDIS too, like the little fairy lights behind the round things, and the ramp that they built to allow Jenna Coleman to ride her bike into it! I'd definitely recommend, if they still do tours! (I visited in December 2015 after Hell Bent aired)

"This one squeaks" Not even a minute in and they're already complaining about the set design.

the big red lever on the right is power control and powers the tardis up, the one on the right is the main lights control, the swisher control that they play with first is the emergency take off switch, and the the two main slider handles are one is the main tardis brake and the other is take off, the keyboard/pad is the navigation system, that's the main controls of the tardis.

This is kind of a dream come true for fans; walking around the console pressing every single button! Looking forward to the new season!

If I had a tardis I would have the chameleon circuit modified to work on the inside too, therefor having the interior and exterior look like a caravan with the toilet/shower room going into the main console. I would then have a mini-control panel hidden in a cupboard in the caravan bit. after setting all this up I would hit the chameleon circuit with a spanner until it broke.

there was just something about the way she said "Matt is my friend" with a slight nod was really endearing. I'm actually looking forward to doctor who like I haven't in quite a few years. which is nice.

I dont know if anyone noticed this but in Matt Smith's final episode he said he was going to "Patch the telephone back to the console unit" and he has as Matt Lucas picks up the phone!

Ah ok. You asked for it. Simple way to fly the tardis. Initialization: Alpha H Alpha C Stott 11 Stabilize R Power lever Dematerialize: Stabilize L Stott 1,3,4,6,10 Retro Yellow Retro Green Main Lever Stygian Lever guide: Far left: travel future fast Middle left: travel future slow Far right: travel past fast Middle right: travel past slow Dial at bottom left of panel with stygian levers controls overall stygian vortex speed Navigation Pad Green numbers input co-ordinates right to left, be careful Press Nav button to navigate there. (Stygian levers and NavPad only work if dematerialized) Materialize: Stabilize L Retro Green Retro Yellow Stott 10,6,4,3,1 Main Lever These are only basic controls for the tardis, you can't just randomly input numbers on to NavPad and the tardis is definitely not reliable, as it is a living organism If someone is confused by the Dimensional Engineering, Don't waste time explaining it to them, its funnier watching them be confused. (Btw this took like 30 minutes researching and typing lol)

I would not mind having a life size replica of that console in my place to just walk around and flip/switch/push things randomly to help center myself.
