I understand why you are more inclined to sing songs like that. This is a very difficult year and music is often our only consolation. It motivates me to see what is created, what is done creatively in moments like this. Your voice has always seemed one of the most beautiful to me. I am glad to hear it, especially in this year.

I really really needed to hear this. I had an emotional breakdown yesterday, and for the first time in a couple of years I broke in front of my boyfriend. I cried and cried because we're stuck in a terrible situation... I was listening to nothing but muse songs yesterday to help me get through, and eventually after my boyfriend reassured me that everything i blame myself for i shouldn't, I had a decent day until i went to sleep. When i got on youtube this morning this is the first thing to catch my eye. I play it and... It hit me. The emotions. The words sang so sweetly, the guitar and everything else. Thank you, Matt. Thank you MUSE. Thank you Dom and Chris, and anyone else involved. You're getting me through the worst year of my life, and without you, I wouldn't have comfort in your songs. Since I heard Resistance I've been hooked and I just wanted to say how much you mean to me as an artist, musician, and a person. How much you inspire me. I dont think this will ever reach you, and will become a droplet in the vast oceans of the comment section, but if any of you read this, i'd be elated.
