For me, it's the best POR album. Front to back amazing and what really got me into Punk.

@@thomasmainecoon Same. I bought so many albums from that comp and then read the liner notes on those where they thank a bunch of other bands, so I'd check those out as well. One of the only ways to find that sort of music when you live in midwest suburbs.

@leftofpunk always read the liner notes and follow the path backwards! It's not on this POR, and I don't believe super popular, but the Screeching Weasel album 'Wiggle' was always a favorite. Crazy how some albums are like light switches, they just open your eyes to so much.

One of my all time favorite ska songs right there. It should be noted there is a fantastic version of this song with Stubborn All-Stars that appeared in Beavis and Butt-Head Do America. I don't know if it was re-recorded for that film, but yeah. Both versions are fantastic. Same with the two versions of Cash, Culture & Violence. Keep it up Matt.

Hey Matt! April 11th , 1996 was a fantastic time that I heard y’all play this song! You guys were on tour for Out Come the Wolves. Initially you were gonna play a small club in Omaha, NE called the Ranch Bowl. It was then moved to Omaha Civic Auditorium that had a bunch of orchestra seating in the pit. The show was wild! These 3 security guards started really beating the shit out some punk rockers and Tim sees it go down. Tim yell’s “ Hey!! Stop it!! And stops playing , throws down his guitar 🎸and jumps off stage and starts fighting these motherfuckers. I think at that point you , Lars and Brett jump in and beat the shit out of the security guards! After that y’all got back on stage and the very next song was “ I wanna RIOT “. The place erupted and my goodness there was an energy I’lol never forget. Orchestra seats that were bolted down got ripped apart and thrown everywhere! The place was crazy! Fun show! Last I heard the city was shaking their hands and supposedly banned Rancid from playing there. Anyways Matt, maybe you remember it maybe not but it was a great time for a kid that was 15 ! Thanx!

Two greatest moments in Beavis and Butthead Do America: The Hoover Dam scene ("Is this a God Dam?") and this tune. (This tune eclipsed the Hoover Dam scene, and a friend and I had to pause the movie 'cause we were laughing so hard by how stupid that moment was.) I had ...And Out Come the Wolves, but this tune finally kicked me in the ass and got me to pick up the first to albums. As always, thanks for sharing 😀

Does anybody know where to get old songs of Downfall and Silencers ( except Policeman)

You and subhumans (UK) were my biggest influences teaching myself bass by ear back before people had the internet in their homes.
