It's a great cover for sure, but you should know it isn't his song. This was written by Charlie Kaufman and John Brion for the movie Synecdoche, New York. It's a brilliant film, but really abstract and depressing, so if you don't like feeling confused or just generally sad as hell, then probably best to skip it... If you are okay with those things though, it's a jam! :D

@@ZedAmadeus Phenomenal film nevertheless, not afraid to admit I cried genuine tears when this came on. Must be one of the greatest songs ever created for a movie in my honest opinion.

A lot of people will know, but a lot won't - this is actually a cover of a song written by John Brion and Charlie Kaufman (I think Kaufman helped write lyrics for the songs as well as writing and directing the movie? not sure) for the movie Synecdoche, New York. It's a brilliant film, highly recommend. But it's very arthouse and extremely depressing, so you know.

I love how emotional I can get while listening to any of his songs. I'm not broke, lost, or miserable in any way, but if I wanna be sad and cry, I go listen to his discography and just let my tears flow and emotions overcome. I love this life with Matt and his music.

It IS a great cover but it's actually a John Brion song from the movie Synecdoche, New York. Brilliant watch, by the way. Not to discount his other original songs, which I'm sure are brilliantly moving, it's just, he didn't write this. :)
