Critical Role's new show Exandria Unlimited puts Matt Mercer in the player seat! His new character Dariax has an awesome Dwarf Divine Soul Sorcerer Build that you all should check out! His character Dariax is a fun and unique build that is a shining example of a concept forward character build. This video is a little different from my usual character builds! I will be taking a look at Matthew Mercer’s build for Dariax, look at his choices, and what direction I would take this build to level 10 if you want to play a Dwarf Divine Soul Sorcerer inspired by the character.

I've made a FAIRY divine sorcerer and went evil for inflict wounds spell, level 4 went with magic initiate BARD, picking vicious mockery as one of the cantrips... The ancestery i picked was GOLD so i am fire resistance.... GOLDEN FAIRY!

Love this variation of your video style. I'm really enjoying eXu (and my wife is even watching it too!). I know I'd love to see videos on the other characters. Not sure if you want to make full videos for all of them, but I know I really loved this video regardless. Keep up the great work!

I didn't know Matt made divine soul sorcerer! I was forever DM until yesterday and made lightfoot halfling divine soul sorcerer with criminal background. What a coinincidence! I even chose the same spells that Matt did, except I chose detect magic not thaumaturgy.

Ok my feedback is that I think that it's doing good. The spells and options were reasonably well chosen. And I can't think of any other spells to replace any of the spelles included in the build. So I will give it 8/10.

If you know his spell list at level one, you already get a clue as to what entity he’s tied to. The spell gained is based on the alignment of the god/entity, not the player. Bless-lawful Bane-chaos Cure wounds-good Inflict wounds-evil Protection from good & evil- neutral That would help narrow it down

Unconventional character builds are my favorite. My most recent idea draws heavy inspiration from the MtG card/lore Melek, Izzet Paragon. Initially I was considering Genasi Bladesinger (pretty basic and uninspired) , but I got a suggestion for a Warforged Draconic Blood Sorcerer and I have been absolutely stuck on wanting to make this character my own. So, much flavor potential explaining how this character exists. I can Gish with him if I need to or I can stand back safely from range. The idea has evolved substantially from my initial clone a card concept and into it's own. So, excited to probably never get to play it.

I started playing 2002 and managed to find six in person games in about twenty years. On fantasy grounds (and I am sure it is the same for other VTT) I am in two games a week then another three games every other week. I had to leave two other games for scheduling reasons and played in six one shots. All since this January. So If you want a chance to play that character try VTT's

I'm playing a Mnt. Dwarf Divine Soul in a campaign right now. Tasha's new origin rules make this a very powerful build especially if your DM, like mine, allows you to roll for stats. Was able to get a 17 roll for my charisma and with that plus 2 racial score I had a lvl 1 with 19 cha :D
