@@rosaleacorle2854I also took my mom shopping and all other errands, and went to lunch after. We also went to lunch after church every Sunday. After she died at 96, I felt like I lost my best friend. I miss those times so much. I think I took them for granted until I didn’t have them anymore. So, Tipper, enjoy your mama (lately I noticed that you refer to her as mama, rather than granny) I like it because it just sounds more personal, I guess.

Tipper, one of my favorite times on your channel is watching and listening to your talks with Matt. It’s so comforting and heartwarming. My family is close also but with losses the last few years, it changed life as we once knew it and makes me sad so watching your channel has brought peace and joy again. Carolina Style Hotdogs for me- Chili, slaw, mustard and onions. My sweet Mama never drove so after I got my License , I always took her every Saturday to the grocery store. Once I had a family of my own I woud stop and pick her up. In her later years she would make a list and I would get them as I got mine. Hearing you tell this about Granny brought back such great memories! Thank you for letting my mind wonder back in time with my sweet Mama.

Second comment because I had to comment about what you said at the end.I don’t have much family left…my parents died young,my sister lives in another country and I’m 4000m from home living in a city with my teenagers until the last one finishes high school and I can go back to Vancouver island… As a single mama my teenagers are my world…but this channel and your family Tipper feels like family to me.I live vicariously through you as I’m bed bound a lot due to having CRPS after I was run over by a van and the glimpses I get of your families traditions make me smile and feel included. My 15 year old always asks me for a recap of your videos and asks how you are all doing 😂 She is so busy with her studies and piano she doesn’t have time to watch much but I do and I update her. She’s been praying for granny and we’re both excited about your grand babies.I’m thankful for each one of you ❤❤

Mama Styles you’re not alone. I’m bed bound many days and Tipper’s videos make me feel like I have visited with family. Tipper, Matt, Katie, Corie and Austin may not be aware of it but they have a positive influence on the mental health of so many of us watching them in KZfaq. Human beings are social animals and we need to have interaction with others and do so by commenting. Too much isolation is detrimental to our health.

My mom never drove so dad did all the grocery shopping. After dad had his first stroke he couldn't drive so I would take him to the store. I was fortunate that working 12 hour shifts at the hospital and working weekends gave me days off during the week. So we would schedule time on my days off. I really miss that time with my dad. Then after he passed away I would take mom to the store until she got to where she couldn't get around. Then I got groceries for her. Now she's been gone since 2017. I really miss them both. But, now that I am old I have our groceries delivered from Walmart. Gotta love that.

Tipper, you are so right about family. Family is the most valuable gift you will ever have. I remember going to the grocery store with my Momma. It was a big deal too. I can remember riding in the front of the buggy. In fact my sister & I would argue over that position. Later I took my 3 kids & oh as they got older I really dreaded it. However, I’d give anything to have all three of them in tow again as little ones. Now they are grown, and their kids are big, in fact some of my grands are grown. Where has time gone? I have gone grocery shopping with my grands and always picked up packs of Fruit Striped gum for them. They all still talk about that gum. It really is the little things isn’t it! Well, I’m trying to stay warm. Looks like snow will be here tomorrow. Hope you get a good one! ❄️❄️❄️🥶❄️❄️❄️🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

I have a feeling that this is your year for snow. I love walking in the woods right after a good snow. It's always so beautiful and brightens the winter days.

I'm the same as you....i went to the store with my mommy weekly and then I took her weekly when she was elderly. We had the best times and made lots of memories. We called it going to town to trade. I've had different people ask me what that means. I'm sure you have heard the phrase "trading" instead of shopping

Ron & I eat mustard and onions on our hot dogs. However, we have had relish or coleslaw on them, too. We go grocery shopping 2 or 3 times a week. The grocery store is very close to our home. When I was a child growing up in southern Georgia, my Mom went grocery shopping every Saturday. That was a cute story about little Alex waiting to get his hair done, too❣️

We are suppose to get 4 degrees here on Tues also. We are suppose to get 2-4 inches of snow here starting noon Monday. I dread it.. I dread the cold but not the snow .

When it comes to grocery shopping, alot of European countries have only very small refrigerators, and they go daily for things like fresh meat ..items that they will need for the day. Of course their "markets" are much different then ours.

We have below zero temperature today! Be sure when the temperature drops to stay warm. We used wood for many years, but since we are in our late 70s we had a furnace put in. The wood heat can never be matched!

I enjoyed listening to you talk about going grocery shopping. I sometimes walk through the Supercenter and start crying because I miss my "shopping partners." It does help to have someone to share the icky chores with. My shopping schedule was often tied to when we got paid. So that has changed over time. The most eventful was once a month shopping and then praying we had enough money for milk, eggs, bread at the end of the month. haha!

I love beef hotdogs too! I put sauerkraut and ketchup on mine. If I don't have the kraut then I use a little mustard also. I think Binks is adorable, Katie. For heartburn I use an organic baking soda and it works wonders. I use about 1/16 tsp of soda in about 3 oz. of tepid water. In S. E. Wisconsin there were variable levels of snow, but my house got about 8". The trouble is that today (Sunday) thru Tuesday it will be seriously cold. Today we had only -1 with windchill of -21.

I had my first "slaw dog" in Saltville Virginia. That was the best hot dog I had ever eaten. I used to put ketchup on them, but now I use mustard. Hot dogs with slaw on top are the best. I love your channel. ❤

Never liked hot dogs much when I put ketchup on them. Then I was at a baseball game and bought one from a roving vendor. The buns were steamed and he only put mustard on it. I asked for ketchup and he glared at me and said "Never put ketchup on a hot dog!" It was the best one I'd ever eaten and never put ketchup on again. I like kraut on them too.
