Remove Before Race I ordered the AMG GTC coupe in magno selenite grey. The car is a May build with June delivery!

Looking at either a GTS or E63S (can't decide!) But will probably go for Hycinth Red or Brilliant Blue as I've heard the maintenance of the matt finishes is a nightmare. They look amazing I must admit. The waiting list for a GTS is crazy though. I was told 18 months by the dealer!

The only shit part about matte paint is when someone else doors your car & you can’t just polish off their paint. 😫

Love this guy. The greats, no matter their field, all have that fanatical attention to detail in common. Being exposed to the passion Stu has for his craft is almost more worthwhile than the fantastic detailing advice.

Great vid. Thank you Raz for doing a vid and allowing Stu to give his advice and guidance. Many vids or posts feature a detail, but the detailer or indeed the processes are often overlooked in favour of the finish...I do understand that, we all want to see a gleaming car, but right here is the difference between a £10 car wash and a detail done right.....you get what you pay for and when you see the end result and the ease of keeping the car clean, you know it's been worth every penny.👍👍

Had my M3 done with similar treatment. Detailed then front is PPFd with Xpel Ultimate and the rest ceramic coated with Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light. The whole car then coated with Exo V3. Looks stunning and much easier to clean. Also as you say the car looked better than factory. Probably not helped by the dealers not knowing how to prep a car properly. Just need to clean it and maintain it properly and it lasts years. Great video.

Im about to purchase a Genesis GV70 and considering Matte paint, so Im taking serious notes on how to properly care for it. Trying to decide if I want to go through this process as opposed to getting the normal high gloss paint job and then get a matte wrap. #DecisionsDecisions

Q. Regarding carefully care for frozen paint ! Just wondering why not do first snow foam, let everything slide down And than use carefully 2-3 bucket system. Right now there are so many great quality brands with only products For matte paint, AngelWax one of them, as well Matte Ceramic, Gyeon ... But definitely using Metrovac or similar for drying. Cars looks Magnificent with Frozen paint, much better than regular paint. Like high maintaince women, take care properly and everything will be great 😉

If you're keeping it PPF the whole car with Satin XPEL. I have it on my Magno Iridium GTS windshield forward you can not tell where the car has PPF. I get my GHM GTR next week, it's going straight to the PPF shop to get bumper to bumper treatment.

wash the car carefully and when you're ready to apply something to protect the paint, don't. Come to F1 because we know how to do it. This was helpful. Good effort RBR but, a let down in the end.

Artagain Thanks for watching! The video is about the basics of cleaning such paint work, to help owners get this right for their cars on an everyday basis. Protection treatments are a much bigger topic, and this method is a unique one Stu has developed: it would be folly for him to reveal it casually. I’m sure you can understand this now. 👍🏼

I appreciate the video but I can personally tell you it’s pointless buying matte paint, no matter how careful you are shit happens, you park it under a tree a bird takes a dump sun burns it for 3-4h on 100* and you are fvcked, kids in and out of the car you can see nail marks from them grabbing the door handles.......so I figured the best option is buy any color (I do black) which saves me 10-11k on a matte paint option, I take it to my detailers they wrap it in matte expel wrap (self healing one) cost between $1500-$3000 it depands in a size and I’m done. No headache u can wash it with windex it you'd like, no headeche what so ever....

Never go with matte paint or bmw Frozen paint (matte) save yourself the money, frustration. Simply go get it wrapped properly and protect the paint.
