I DID A WOOPSIE! -the final 50 seconds of this video is missing, in which the final car is shown a bit more and I do an outro, but the render failed, I didn't notice, and I released the video - and now it's too far after the release for me to re-release for a missing portion at the end. I am impressed but I wouldn’t say that I admire that. I think I would’ve liked it better if it were not so close to the ZHC. There is a time when people must take a stand for what they believe in and for other peoples well-being. Obviously I am not in Jazza‘s shoes so I don’t have the ability to judge his intentions. I choose to believe that they are good and that this was necessary. That doesn’t mean that I am going to celebrate one person hurting somebody else even if it is for a good reason. It was done and I believe it was good but it is not happy. The complexity of the last two months on this channel are completely centered in some thing that makes me a little uncomfortable. It is the same as a physical attack. I would not hesitate to Hurt somebody to protect somebody else. Still though I am going to be happy when I can watch one of these videos and not compare it to ugly drama. I mean his kids were in the Christmas gingerbread house video. I really liked that video but now when I think about it I see a cohesive deconstruction of another person‘s lifelong ambition. Again necessary but not happy.
@2teepeepictures382

What I do admire is the fact that Jazza definitely knew that people would make connections and that it would be a negative force on his channel but he chose to take the hit for a cause. That I respect the heck out of him for because things hit different when you have a family and I’m pretty sure they hit even more different when you have a company full of families. There’s a lot on his shoulders at stake

This collab has been amazing and I'm so thrilled to find another doll customiser to watch! I was really sad and disappointed, though, that Jazza painted over Zedabyu's zombie head instead of printing a new one to paint from scratch. I think it would have been great to keep that one as it was created. I guess the basic nature of doll customisation is that you're taking a doll that someone else created and doing new things with it to make it your own, but usually you're not modifying already one-of-a-kind custom pieces. I was disappointed to see that piece of art disappear, even though I enjoyed the new zombie Jazza as well. I'm always really happy when I see well-established art KZfaqrs recognise smaller creators who maybe haven't found their full audience yet. I appreciate that Jazza does this and I love finding new artists this way, particularly those I might never have stumbled across otherwise and who deserve to have more people see their art.

Fun fact: there is an entire community all across social media that specifically customizes dolls. Typical they use monster high or ever after high dolls as a base and the remove the face, paint a new face, give them hair (not sculpted, most of the time it’s made from acrylic yarn that has been brushed and straightened for a realistic look) new outfit and everything. Most of the time they are cute but you know, this is cool too 😂

A bit off topic, but I’m happy Barbie added different sized dolls, petite and curvy. But as someone who developed very early and had a Dolly Parton thing going on, it bummed me out that the curvy Barbie didn’t have larger breasts, really. Because *that,* people say, would be *sexualizing.* Well. I had to deal with people staring at me, trying to look down my top, and using my youth as a reason that it was okay to hug me in a certain way that I was not comfortable with, under a guise of innocence. Then at my Church, I was told my body itself was tempting men to sin (despite my very modest attire and slouching to try to hide my chest; I hated all of this, did not want attention), and maybe I should remove myself from their sight, to help them not be tempted, until a solution (breast reduction surgery) was found. They’d pray for me and welcome me back just as soon as I was no longer luring men to sin, otherwise *I* was being sinful by choosing to tempt men. Which… of course, if God made me that way naturally, and I couldn’t hide it, how is that a choice? Even close friends of my parents, the husbands, when we would all be together or go to dinner, I’d have to deal with the staring. I’d use the menu to shield myself as long as possible. I’d take my hair down, which I kept long partially to shield my chest, even if I was really hot. Anyone with long hair can tell you, taking it down when you’re hot just makes you so much warmer and uncomfortable. My dad was clueless, but my mom would catch on, stare daggers at the guy. They’d have a talk when I wasn’t around. Usually they lost the friendship of both people. I felt it was my fault. I guess I just regret that… there’s all this body positivity and inclusivity, but for this one shape, because it’s assumed if you’re smaller or petite and have a chest, you want attention, maybe it’s surgery and you wanted to attain that body shape. Telling girls that just because they have big boobs, they’re sexualized and can’t escape it and basically have to put up with this behavior, starting at age 10, that’s not okay. My school friends treated me differently, and I didn’t know why. They acted like I was dumb all of a sudden, the vapid stereotype, when I’d always been at the top of my class. Later on, girls didn’t trust me with their guys, assuming I was very… active and wanted to (and could) steal their boyfriends, despite me not dating at all in high school. These people KNEW me for YEARS, saw me every school day, but changing this one thing meant they treated me differently. I don’t know, I just think… with the slim thick trend going on, it’s okay and laudable, even, for Mattel to have a Barbie with big hips, but anything about a chesty Barbie is considered ridiculous and sexualizing children. When in reality, *girls* with this body type are sexualized, partially due to people not seeing this body type as much. If it’s too taboo to be on a Barbie, how are girls going to treat girls they encounter that have this forbidden shape? The sexualization of girls is a problem, and I don’t know the answer to changing behaviors toward them, but acting like the shape itself is sexual, and therefore not child-friendly or… pure enough, is not doing anything to *help* the situation. I know this is a doll makeover video. I get that it’s not a video essay about how the industry could better prepare children for the realities of life and help them be inclusive. But when I saw Jazza strolling the isles around 2:00 and the improvements in variety, it just hit me all over again that yeah, there are varieties now, but girls like 10-Year-Old-me are still going to be blamed and sexualized and talked down to and assumed to have… a certain kind of character or a particularly intense interest in pursuing sexual pastimes, all because of a body shape we don’t have control over. It may not be a specific issue that most people have to deal with, but it’s still a problem, and I hope one day girls can just… be, be left alone to live their lives and find their personalities, regardless attributes they attain during puberty. Right now they’re being told their value, and that they need to deal with it, they need surgery to be “normal,” and, sometimes, if they’re assaulted, well, with their figure, they were asking for it. It’s not okay, and further ratifying the body type so it gets gawked at IRL doesn’t help the problem.

As a doll customizer and huge fan of the hobby, I’m not sure if this video makes me thrilled or horrified. Cuz, of course I’m glad to have new people to the hobby! But also, he follows zero of the steps and guides Dollightful videos have instilled in me. Which goes against all my instincts. 😱 I guess I’ll just be happy he tried.

He's a kinesthetic learner. Looked like he has more Barbie stuff and bodies sent by the other guy, to experiment with. Hopefully we'll see more attempts after he's done a bit of research.

He usually tries things once without researching then researches and gives it a real go, plus Dollightful does things her own way and other doll customizers use others, though he obviously didn't use any of those other techniques either. So as a doll customizer myself I'd love to see him give this another go

I feel like the barbies should have been the zombies because of how many of them have been torched, blown up, mangled, and smashed by teenagers. I am guilty of this but only one time. When my neighbor and I were like 8 or 9, she had a singing Justin Bieber doll and it was annoying so I crushed it under her garage door. It still sang but it was distorted and both of its legs popped off 😂

I love that this is also just a way of subtly including more young girls into embracing badass styles, themes, and storylines that used to be reserved for boys. I think we've come a long way to the point that some people may not even notice that message anymore, and that's a good thing too, but I still notice it and I love it! :)

@@poochy2479 It isn't that everything needs to be a big production, its simply an observation of a difference in quality given the past production quality. He has done "fun" videos with much more attention and production quality. He is running a business and content makes him money, our viewership supplies his income. I enjoy seeing him do things for fun without stressing about that, but after the video is filmed, there is no reason why the video should be this "rough" with a production team behind him.
