Kai Hahto is the current drummer of Nightwish (he still plays with Wintersun too) Kai had been covering for his friend Jukka at Nightwish, but has been made a permanent member fairly recently. Jukka is still with NW as the manager of their company, but cannot tour anymore due to health reasons. Kai has a background in Jazz drumming, I guess that's why he knows how to mix it up. Kai made up all the drum parts himself in this one.

Kai Hatho was asked by Jari to join his band - as one thing he would not be able to do himself was drumming, and certainly not at the mastering level of Kai. Kai is human metronom

Jari was also the original singer for the folk metal heavy weight Ensiferum, and wrote their lyrics for the first two albums, as well as some of the songs.

He is one of the crazy characters in the metal world, and I mean that positively of course. Yeah, Kai Hahto is now Nightwish drummer. Great band with some really outstanding musicians Kai/drummer also is with Nightwish. The lead vocalist had TB which has diminished his lung capacity....that was at 75% !!! If you want great guitars might I suggest the all female metal band Lovebites and their 2 lead guitarists Midori and Miyako who riff and harmonize like no one else especially LIVE. They are small in stature (5' tall) and look like models but they have brought all the glory of 80's metal (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, etc..) to a whole new level with a bluesy vocalist who sings in English. They are the vanguard of the all female bands with some of the best guitarist playing today, Band Maid, Mary's Blood, Aldious, Show-Ya, etc....
