me too. love johnny cash, but this is a really great cover. They have a lot of great music in the series, I discovered already a few new songs thanks to them.

@@Anna-jx5pl Well then I Guess I need to rewatch a few episodes cuz I think a lot of the time during the first few episodes I really didn't get a chance to into any of the music played. So thanks I will get to looking into some of those songs. I really could use some good new songs in my life right now. Curious question though if it was possible who would you rather see live perform Ring of fire.

@@c.alan74 Definitely Johnny Cash. He's a legend, would have loved to see him live. A song I got to know through the series is "something in the orange" by Zach Bryan, a great song.

I tried to do a version of Ring of Fire for a long time. After I watched this video of Matthew Mayfield I was sure that I would play it the way he did...So thanks to Mr. Mayfield & Mr. Johnny Cash. Great Work Mr. Mayfield...great work!

This is yet another beautiful cover Matthew has reinterpreted so well. I love seeing these 4 friends play together as they mesh so perfectly. Each brings his or her own emotion to the table, and the filming is really well done, from location to each camera angle -- as it captures and enhances the feeling of days gone by. You've definitely done justice to the man in black through this original, artistic piece. Great job, Matthew, Wil, Sarah, Lori & Seth -- Love y'all! :)

I like how this brings back the original sadness of the song... how - in fact - what the trumpets cover, is a very very sad song. And yet, we know the story ends so well, so it sort of marks a sentimental turning point in Cash's life. I think MM has captured that rather well.

I met her once. Her name is Sarah. She and her husband, Will, have a music business. I had no idea she could sing like this until I saw this video. Beautiful voice. And a very, very pretty girl indeed.

Sydney Ford They look like suspended chords on the E and G strings...I could be wrong, but it looks very DMB like, So 5th fret on the low E 6th on G, muting the A string and letting the D ring open throughout.
