When I say Matthew McConaughey, you say alright alright alright! Those are the first three words McConaughey ever said on film and since then his performances have become truly iconic. From The Wolf of Wall street and Interstellar to Dallas Buyers Club, Mud and True Detective. But for the longest time McConaughey was only known for his Romantic Comedies, which ultimately led to a period of downtime and not getting offered any other roles. In this video we are going shine some light on the life and career of Matthew McConaughey and see how he went from the romcom guy to making one of the greatest come backs, now known as The McConaissance.

You know, I've very much much enjoyed the McConnaissance, and i think i wasn't able to quite iterate exactly why, and you just nailed it. Like, he's just someone that's almost fulfilling to root for. A level of charm and charisma that is impossible to teach

I met Matthew the last weekend of my senior year at UT Austin. He said that he was going into the drama school. He wanted to go to SMU but couldn't afford it. He has a lot of charisma and real leadership qualities. Since we needed a fraternity president and I asked him if he could take over. He chatted with our ongoing president. I know he pledged Delta Tau Delta but our ad-hoc fraternity since exists after 36 years

I know this is random to comment but Mathew’s career journey makes me excited for Tom Holland’s lol. I know he’s written off by some because he’s fame came from an ip, but after seeing him in the crowded room I couldn’t believe that he possessed so much untapped talent portraying someone with severe mental illness. It proved to me he has so much than just Spider-Man. I’m aware I’m delusional for this comment considering I’m a fan but I want to see more actors break outside their types lol.
