People who crucified him for this don't know him as a Lions fan would based on everything written about him. He addresses it in wife Kelly's podcast and made no excuses of being drunk, said he wished he'd responded better, would learn from it, done. Before it was viral they were checking on her with the Rams and eventually they volunteered to pay her expenses, huge considering it wasn't anyone's fault. People on here need to search their Detroit charitable giving, how they helped people at Christmas, the video he made thanking Detroit, their parting gift to Detroit, etc. Hard to believe MATTHEW (not "Matt", read Kelly S's jacket that day) has no social media....

I thought she fell straight on her back, but it looks like she landed on one of her feet at least. It's okay to point out what Stafford should've done in that situation if he were the perfect human, but it should also be okay to understand why and how he could do what he did, which is why I don't understand people talking about Stafford like he's some kind of asshole when we all know not everybody (asshole or not) is gonna do what or react the way his wife did in that situation. There were lots of people in the crowd in front of the stage that witnessed the photographer fall and most did nothing as well; it's understandable. At least the people that she fell directly in front of went to help her, because that's what really matters.

Omg, I’m sick of overblowing the cancel culture. He’s not being cancelled at all. He shouldn’t have just walked away and I don’t think he would have if he wasn’t wasted. His statement afterwards was great.

Normally I think you guys have a good view on things . But in this case I totally disagree with you. He's a grown man and you have to help people when they are in situations where they need help. This has nothing to do with "killing the vibe" its about being a good human or not.

There's a lot of people who could use your help in Ukraine right now. I assume "as a grown man" you're on the first flight to go help these people where they need help right? It would be "a good human" to do so.

Maybe not quite an apples to apple comparison? Getting on a flight to Europe to fight a war is slightly different than showing concern or helping someone who falls a few feet from you.
