years ago, my therapist asked me what my favourite song was. i (very confidently) said "even if it's a lie by matt maltese". she didn't even make it past the second line before she said "let's dive into that" BAH moral of the story, matt maltese is amazing and deserves the world

There's a perfect balance of beauty, quality, and figurative speech in this song. The melody is calm and the lyrics succeed in giving the listeners sort of this sentimental feeling. And since then I listened to and fell in love with so many of your songs such as mystery, studio 6, strange time, vacancy in 21st century, as the world caves in, and this song.
