I don't know much about projectors. The capsule looks great for traveling or even as a gift for kids. The other one is interesting too, for the prices are very attractive devices.

How far away does it need to be away from the wall for the bigger screen, typical projector distance far away, or does it stretch it out little more closer?

Nebula Capsule 3 does not support official Netflix version. This means you will not be able to use remote for example. If Netflix is important to you at this price point that can be a deal braker.

Would either of the projectors produce a bright enough picture to be useful as a travel screen in day time inside conditions for content creation?

The Capsule would not be bright enough for day time but hte cosmos should be able to do it.

Hey, not sure why nobody has pointed it out, but the model that you have used in this video seems to be faulty, it has clearly visible various colour stripes. I rechecked again and again if it’s the issue of my ipad, but then I could see your video very accurately and only the projection video had the issue of colour stripes…

So since its a laser it shoots colours in RGB and the camera picks it up as it paints the screen. It's not your iPad. You can't see it in real life thankfully but the camera tends to show glimpses of it.

@@MatthewMoniz ok understood… In that case, may be you would want to find out, how other creators are able to avoid the problem… I saw few more videos for Nebula capsule 3 and they all did not face the issue… Also, I may be sounding too complaining… but your videos do bring the great content, and this was the first time I thought the issue bothered me and I was not able to gauge the product quality… that’s why the feedback!

Considering it’s size I actually think it’s pretty darn good. You can also use a usb power bank to keep it going

That's the norm for mini portable projectors. You could also get a decent USB C battery bank for longer play durations.

i dont get it why these small projectors are getting more and more expensive now. like, i thought my $360 p6x projector was expensive but at least it has 1000 lumen on battery and brighter when plug in... can't believe this $800 projector has only 300 iso lumen. too expensive

I just got hired for a job that will have me travel constantly. Lots of flights and nights at hotels. A few years ago, I would have gotten this instantly for a job like that. But now? I would honestly rather get something like those Nreal Air AR glasses. I haven't tried them yet, but everyone says the picture quality is great. Meanwhile traditional projectors always look washed out to me, even in the dark. Having a clear wall to project onto in your hotel room is also not a guarantee, but with the glasses you just need to put them on your face. You can also actually use them during flights, unlike the projector. Oh, and they're half the price of this projector. So yeah, if you're a group of people, then sure, the projector's great. But if you just wanna relax and watch a movie or play a game by yourself after work, I would definitely pick the glasses, provided they're as good as everyone says they are. For solo-use, I just don't see the point of travel projectors like this anymore, now that good AR glasses are becoming a thing.

it is through a mobile app but not officially. On the cosmos Laser 4k its supported.

It's $679... I could buy a 4k projector, 120" screen, dolby sound bar and a 4k firestick or chromecast and still have enough to take yo mama out for a steak dinner.

Don't buy this projector It has a lot of issues related to overheating So, I prefer xgmi Halo+ Halo+ is way better

I have the same question. Not very happy with the keystone on the Nebula. I may order the Halo+ to test them side by side

@@arielgo Interesting. I decided to buy both and try them out myself too. Unforunately, despite ordering the Nebula 3 at Launch, it'll only be dispatched to me as from the 4th of Dec! I'm already using the Halo+ and I think it's a great piece of kit but the form factor is not as appealing as the Capsule 3. If the capsule has anywhere near the performance of the Halo+ then it'll be the one that I keep!

@@kevinaub Ok - I compared them last night. It arrived really late, so I only tested it for an hour or so: Keystone Correction: Advantage Halo+ Image Brightness: Advantage Halo+ Portability: Advantage Nebula Capsule Image Quality: No big difference here Power Cord: Advantage Nebula Capsule (Halo+ uses a brick while Nebula Capsule uses USB C I will do some further comparisons tonight. But right off the bat if you want portability then Nebula Capsule is the way to go. In my opinion though the Smart keystone correction from Halo+ is the best I have ever seen
