@@SS_SpottingUK Thanks for the video. Couple questions from the US, just from curiosity: Firstly, does the SACU have a toilet on board? (Where I work, our 'rehab' units do - though they prefer us to enjoy the catering without leaving anything "in return", so to speak!) Secondly - situations such as this, where I'd imagine most county resources have been dispatched - would mutual aid be backed in to stations to maintain some level of coverage for other calls?

@@TomCro73 No, our SACU is purely just catering only, We have a different unit called a "Welfare Unit" which will provide the toilets. And yes most likely other units would step in from our county to different stations to provide Cover.

@@Tom-lh3cj when you say going to charity what do you mean? The Salvation Army is both a church and a charity. If you are saying only 20% of all donations to SA is going towards their work, then with all that they do worldwide Provides schools hospitals shelters care homes etc etc to name just a few things , then they are doing far more than others even if you claim on just 20%. I’m sure you have your facts wrong. If you look at the salary they pay their workers and even the top job their General is on only a modest salary. Surely then with everything that’s 100% of money going to do their work.

Okay for 1, For situations where they can not get the helicopter out they put the crew into a Advanced Trauma Vehicle to get them to the victim. And 2, show some consideration!

@@seansean9675 yes, but if you don't know the station codes you're forked... I know every town and village in the UK, but I don't know every fire station code for any station that happens to reside in there. I'm interested in make-ups and stand-bys, but definitely not the new (and ridiculous and hardly ever used, national codes.)

I Got there fairly late when the MP12 was transmitted hence the more fire officers over appliances as alot had previously arrived before I arrived.

2 youths set it alight.. then it was unstable and had to come down.

It's alot easier on that situation to keep that lane closed as there was alot of Civilian traffic at the time and the Fire Appliances was able to go to the job via committing the wrong way off the roundabout
