@@thepanther543yes its a flag ship but as time passes youd expect mid range phones 4 years later to atleast match it in performance. Kind of like how a 1080ti from 2017 which is a flagship gpu gets outperformed by a 3060ti from 2020 which is a entry level gpu. Mid-ranges arent worth buying their performance goes up around 5% while flag ships go up to 20% each year.

@TheHardys126 May I ask you what new phone substitutes your S10e? I'm still using my beloved S10e but time is coming to bid farewell. I'm thinking about A54 as a reasonable alternative or about a S23 as a unreasonable alternative.

@@yourstube66 i was debating between the base s22 or go to the apple side, i decided to buy a base iphone 12 instead, just because i wanted to try IOS, but at the end of the day i think i would have been perfectly happy with the s22, both the s22 and the iphone 12 had the same screen size (6.1) i miss the 5.8 inch display on the s10e though it was just perfect, but after a few days 6.1 feels really confortable.

I don't have trouble with my S10e's battery, but i keep a charge cable in the bedroom, living room and computer. And usually keep the charge between 80% and 40%. Still going strong after 4 and a half to 5 years!

It still works good to this day. I was using it for most of 2023 then I just got a Pixel. S10e is my backup phone though if I ever need one. It should be okay for 2024 too but ofc just a little slower.

Depends on the battery, in the beginning mine survived a full day of mediocre use, heavy use it doesn't last a day even new out of the box. Mine is past 4 years old now and the battery life, offcourse, is a disaster. But that's my only issue with it, battery life has always been mediocre to bad.
