Thank you Robert Redford for making this movie. Excellent Matthias for bringing the human, tender, firm quality of training wild mustangs in view for the world. I own a precious Mustang and she is so special. Lets save our wild mustangs. Do not let the BLM zero them out or become extinct. Please fight and speak out for them. They need us to help them any way we can. Great film of all time. Training horses is a.special talent. Save our wild mustangs and burros. Please get involved and get educated on their plight.

I really identity and love what he said about not looking at people as 'male & female' just see ALL people as clever, creative and good fun to work with. Everyone, everybody has something to bring to the table. And even if not everyone is going to appreciate them, there's always the one who will see their effort and beauty. Let me say this for races; hey folks God created the humanity and each human has come to this beautiful earth this beautiful world with uniqueness and are ALL special. 💘 😻 💜 💛 💚 🧡 love to you all.

Watched the whole interview. He touches on many things that make movies and making movies so wonderful if that magic happens. He generally makes it happen from what I have seen of his work so far. Like Tom Hardy so saw The Drop. Schoenaerts plays the bad guy but after watching a few times attention shifted to him. He is a quiet menace. Of course he is a mental case and that alters the relationship with Nadia who didn't want him around. The dog steals the scenes too often. Do wish they would subtitle his non-English work. He is a wonderful actor with great presence.

It's a beautifully made film- the soundtrack is hauntingly gorgeous- but it's definitely a hard watch, no easy answers. That is most certainly not a criticism, though. Just an observation.
@leefithian37045 жыл бұрын
cuchelo1 I love this depth of art , the artist job is to portray what we could never really portray as meaningful as possible without setting off BS alarm or turning someone’s story into anything “money / agenda / shaming / culture /political’ other than an immersive experience worth paying for , this is amazing and magical when done right , it’s orchestra of light , sound , idea and execution that deserve awards , not what elitist believe or the industry /media are hired to do , the best films are 60/70% NOT what the industry is pushed to do or the investors give a shit about , they do not live in these film’s lives ,

What wasn't clear in the film: the holding facilities the Bureau of Land Management imprisons these horses, sometimes for their entire lives, have no shelter from sun, wind, storms. They get no vet care. Thousands have been sent to butchered alive in Mexican and Canadian slaughter plants. These round ups are ALL for the benefit of cattle ranchers, who get free or nearly free leases on public lands for grazing. These ranchers will fence off streams so the horses cannot drink, and the BLM steps in and imprisons or slaughters them. In the helicopter roundups, many mustangs break their legs. Babies' hooves literally snap off. The prods you see them use are 5000 volts.
