This is a great tutorial Matti! LOVE IT! Sometimes in my videos I went way too far with the warp stabilizer and I got some strange footage. Maybe you can make a tutorial on how to properly use the warp stabilizer and how changing every parameter will give you a different result :)

@@mattih the XT3 only does 120fps @ 1080p, while 4k is capped at 60fps. What would you suggest? 1) film everything @1080p or 2) film at 4k24 and somehow blend /scale 1080p120 or c) everything 4k and use 4k60 and fake the 120 slowmo?

@@GeoffRichards_GP In my experience with the XT3, it looks better to video in 1080p 120 and res it up to 4k rather than to slo 4k 60p down to 120.

Great video once again man! Totally killing it. On a side note to your buttery-smooth slo-mo, I have found that a little camera shake actually helps to dramatize the footage, but it definitely needs to be shake that doesn't draw the viewers attention away from the subject. Some of your shots had a little shake and it looked soooo good! Keep up the great work Matti!

Nice tips thank you! I would love more in depth of this video with gimbal too. As an how you choose your compositions (I’m sure it’s intuitive mostly after so many years of experience) but it will be nice to hear basic break down. The 1dxii has got to be hands down the nicest looking 120fps camera currently in a DSLR / mirrorless. GH5 looks good but something about the 1dxii just looks so good.

Just finishing up today's edits & got the notification... good time for a break... I do everything from tripods in the shop & when i started shooting slo mo, I would do everything slower too, took me a while to realize that wasn't necessary, hahaha....
