It's because the term was gender identity, but then they shortened it to gender to conflate their made up thing with the real thing. It's how they hijack language, new speak as Orwell would call it. Orwell saw the same thing happen in Spain during the civil war while fighting along side the communist factions. Your correct that gender and sex are synonyms. The Etymology of the word prove this.

I live in Germany and the German language doesn't have an equivalent of "gender". Here it is all sex (you know what I mean, linguistically). A effeminate man is still a man. A man in a dress is still a man. A butch woman is still a woman. In the last 2 years or so there were attempts to establish the gender confusion nonsense in the German language and culture, but very unsuccessfully. The beauty of it is that it is corporate yuppies and tech start up Starbucks-drinkers who are pushing for it in an attempt to ape their Silicon Valley role models and that means that even the German Left rejects it. It is considered a American and a corporate thing and thus even Lefties and otherwise woke people hate it.

I was in the Army for 6 years and worked around many women who worked out religiously multiple times a day. I did the bare minimum to pass my PT tests. Yet, I was still insanely stronger than these women. I could knock out 60+ push-ups on PT tests, do 100 situps, and run my 2 mile in around 14 minutes. While these same women could barely manage 30 push-ups and a 2 mile in 16 minutes. The strength difference between the sexes is unreal!

@noworries137
@noworries137 7 ай бұрын
Men are stronger then women, not often, not sometimes, they are. Not only are they stronger, they are MUCH stronger. There is a reason a 15 year olds boys soccer team beat an Olympic ladies soccer team easily and has done so more than once. Those ladies with years of training were no match for boys, and think how much faster and stronger those boys will be by 20. A man who is on cross sex hormones for years is still far stronger than the biological women he is around. Which is why trans female athletes win and dominate and injure biological women. This denial of male strength is the fault of women who for years have said "we can take care of ourselves" or like this chick uses air quotes about it. No love, men are so much stronger than you can even imagine. An individual woman who is stronger than an individual man due to complex reasons is not a reason to now say 'often'. Just as the existence of baby born with one hand has not now changed the definition of 'humans have 2 hands'. Exceptions will always show up, we don't change the language or the realty of the norm due to outliers.
@noworries137
@noworries137 7 ай бұрын
@@tommyfletcher1357 Exactly, I think this delusional idea of female vs male strength like the chick on the video with her air quotes has filtered down so much into society that people actually now believe that there is not that much difference. These girls think if they work out they are now equal or better than an average guy who never set foot in a gym. It's funny but also dangerous. This has led to this modern mind set of: if women are this strong why should men protect them? They can protect themselves. Why shouldn't a trans woman who has been on hormone therapy not be allowed in woman's sports now that their testosterone level and strength is so low? They are fooling themselves.

@@TheWilDOn31 I agree, and would add that man that embrace their gender role are the ones that make their women happy. Man need to step it up and do what is needed to make the family work just as women do. It has been my observation that any one that takes what they want over what their family needs ends up in the "miserably unhappy" group eventually. Because family has 2 roles that need to be filled and is the most likely thing to make a person happy.

The stereotype exists, and it’s wrong. The stereotype shouldn’t exist, because the notion is wrong, and it holds no value. “Females get pregnant.” , “her childhood will be ruined” So in one way, you’re going by facts, and in another, you’re going by the law? That’s illogical, because the law isn’t a fact. It’s something made up. You’re treating it like a fact. You’re being contradictory. Females don’t have to get pregnant in the modern world because birth control exists. Natural birth control exists too. But birth control is bad because pregnancy is a good thing anyways. So if a girl decides she wants to have a child, then it’s a good thing. Even if she were to “ruin her childhood” or even worse, a parent should always sacrifice their life for their child, no matter what age the parent is. The parent made the decision to get pregnant. Also, back to the law. You’re saying her “childhood” will be ruined. You’re basing this idea of when childhood is upon the law, a made up thing which has changed thousands of times and will change in the future. The law saying you’re a child under 18 is not a fact. Her childhood wont get ruined because by definition, childhood ends with puberty. This is true in all animals.

I would assume man make up the majority of best and worst drivers. That tends to be the case on most things with the average being about the same. If this is true the insurance company has no way to tell this just boost the rates for males. Or it could be because males are more aggressive and are thus more accident prone. Same as how red cars are more accident prone, their is a correlation between aggressiveness and people that choose that color. Though I have no idea where the man being better drivers stereotype comes in. I have heard it as a joke but never taken it seriously to look into.

They actually have done research about the driving thing! Women were found to be in more minor accidents at low speeds, while men were more likely to be in more catastrophic and fatal accidents at high speeds. So basically they found that women tend to drive better at high speeds/on highways and men were more likely to overestimate spaces, while men typically drove better at lower speeds and women tended to not pay attention/zone out or over estimate distances when going under 35 mph. I don't actually remember where I found this info, could've been disproved as complete BS for all I know, but they have done some studies on it.

I the reason most women are worse drivers then men comes down to a very simple fact, women don’t care. Most women prefer not to drive, then don’t mind driving, but given the opportunity to opt out, they take it. It’s the same with men and cooking. I think it just happens to be a biological preference present in most of each gender.

There is an evolutionary reason (rather than a biological) men are generally better at driving than women and it's something called spatial awareness, being aware of your surroundings and your position relative to them. No conclusive research has been conducted yet but the general idea is that for thousands of years men were outside hunting and women were inside the caves tending to the offspring. Not being at the top of the food chain however meant that the men had to be aware of their sourroundings always, even when focusing on a target (i.e. the road) they had to keep checking for other predators (asian ladies crossing the street, BMW cars) so they could make it home safe. Over the years only the best survived and the skill somewhat carried today.

As for the second guy: Subservience, when used in a demeaning way, as this man did, means obsequious submission---a sort of oily or fear-filled submission (e.g., Grima Wormtongue, Dobby.) Submission and subservience are different things. Do not confuse the two. A soldier is called to submit to his CO, not be subservient to him. A wife is called to submit to her husband, not be subservient to him. A child is called in like manner. Self-sacrifice and service are a part of life for all of the aforementioned roles, but not subservience. Not in the way the man used the word.
