It's really crazy to me because I was on the left for a really long time. I'm going to type a little story about how my opinion on trans people dramatically shifted really quickly. I worked in an adult toy store (yes, that kind of store) for a little while while I was pregnant. My husband cheated on me and my plans for my pregnancy and my child and myself completely fell apart and I had to have a job for a little wild that would just hire me until I had my baby girl. While I was working there I went through a very different political awakening. I saw a lot of trans people come into the store and after being a hair stylist before this point I had known a lot of trans people and been close to them in my life. I will say that I don't think every single one of them has extreme ideologies like this, but more than I am comfortable admitting do. Pretty much every single trans woman who came in or spoke to me had their transness rooted in fetishism. They would say really uncomfortable things to me whenever I was helping them shop or checking them out with their items. For the most part anyone who was obviously trans to the eye, (aka "not passing) was really overly sexual and into some very strange kinks which made me start to think that this is not what the left try to make you think it is. I mean that goes for people like Leah Thomas too who posts highly fetishized and sexual social media content. If a woman in Lea Thomas' place were to post any kind of stuff like that, she would lose her platform and possibly be removed from the swim team. I was working there as well when they hired a trans woman (aka a "woman" with a stubble beard who was 6'1" with electric pink hair and overweight) who I was asked to train. They tried to not hire this person because they SERIOUSLY lacked social skills and asked every existing customers of all ages and sexes what their "pronouns" were. A lot of the clients are there were wealthier middle-aged men. We sold performance pills and things like that and we were more of a higher-end store and the staff was trained to treat it that way so it didn't feel like some classless sex store that had a movie theater in the back or something, we weren't like that at all. Some of the toys that we sold were close to $500 to $1000. So when this employee would ask these men in their spending a lot of money with their pronouns were, most of the time we would lose the sale immediately and they would walk out. I had even seen this employee ask another trans person what their pronouns were and it made that person so upset because they said "I spent so much money and time on presenting and looking exactly like a man and now you have the audacity to ask me what my pronouns are? It's obvious that I'm a man I tried really hard to look like a man. Just because you feel insecure because you don't look like a girl does not mean that you need to make other people join your delusion." And that really took me aback. They couldn't fire this person or not hire them at all after their training proved to be really tumultuous because the person threatens the managers of the company with calling them out as being transphobic. While working with this person and at this point being very obviously pregnant and showing, this person would constantly make sexual or strange comments to me and even said at one point when I was speaking to a customer about my fear of not being able to breastfeed my child, "I could breastfeed your child for you, because just working with you and being around you I'm starting to produce breast milk so you can just give me your daughter and I'll breastfeed her if you can't". This freaks me out so bad that I honestly quit and never went back to work. Working that job was so scary and strange for me but it taught me a lot about what the left is actually doing and what these people actually stand for. It was one of the only places that would hire me being pregnant and I ended up having to just leave and not come back because they refused to stop putting me on the same schedule times as that trans person. I really started to work there with complete openness in mind and I went into that situation really thinking that trans people were valid and that they just had some hard things to go through and that the world wasn't accepting them, but that couldn't have been further from the truth. I mean there are definitely some trans people that I think have explained it well that it is a mental disorder and that they need to try to pass to feel better about themselves, like the trans man who corrected the employee in the store or Blaire white or Buck Angel. But the majority of them that are in day-to-day life, this is not just online you guys this is REAL, are disturbing and have tendencies in fetishism and pedophilia. You never really know until you're in a position where someone feels comfortable talking to you and telling you some of the weirder things that they're into. My daughter is 9 months old now and I'm doing really well and I am in college and I'm divorced unfortunately, but I will always be the biggest advocate of keeping this insane stuff out of schools because I will not allow my daughter to be preyed upon. Sorry for typing so much I doubt anyone's ever going to read this but I just wanted to kind of bring this back into the real world and show you guys that this is not just an online phenomenon of crazy people who are screaming at the internet.

As a person who identifies as a chicken, I am very offended by Dr Forciers bigoted statement that chickens don't have gender identities and chickens don't cry. I'm crying right now. Her statement hurt my chicken feelings. So many of my chicken friends have committed suicide by running under tractors. It is because of the oppression of hateful bigots like this lady. I am fully biologically female but have always identified with my father and have traditionally masculine interests. Thank God that because of my age I escaped this madness. I'm so relieved this gender ideology wasn't around when I was a teenager (in the 90's). If this lunacy were around when I hit puberty, I probably would have taken puberty blockers, not because of wanting to magically change into a boy or attempting to change my gender, I would of taken it because I was terrified of starting puberty for the first time. Even though we had sex education when I was in the 6th grade, even though they taught us having girls having periods are normal & its a natural body function we can't control, the thought of blood coming out my private lady parts and feeling physical pain for 7 to 10 days scared the hell out of me. I also had this constant fear of... "what if I bleed to much abd I hemorrhage to death when getting my first period? What if my period kills me?" Because of that fear, I would of taken puberty blockers to prevent ever having a period because I was scared of starting early development of womanhood. After starting puberty I absolutely hated it. But after 5 years or so of having a monthly painful periods, it finally began feeling natural to me and starting the painful passage of womanhood wasn't as scary as I imagined it to be. If this craziness were around when I was freaking out about how the female reproductive system works...Whooo!!! I can't imagine how terrible my health would be right now if I would of taken puberty blockers all because of a severe mental fear I had in my head. Yikes!!! I am so lucky this gender ideology didn't exist back then. I feel bad for kids who are taking puberty blockers bevause of their fears of what puberty might be like for them or them taking it due to mental confusion. She's very reasonable and persuasive and has a good manner. And most people are accommodating up to the point you start disagreeing with their deeply held beliefs. So that's not unusual either. What you have here is a radically different way of viewing the world and people and reality. You're really talking to someone who is playing a totally different game in their head about reality. You're not actually in a shared physical or mental space. It's not easy to cross that bridge. As GK Chesterton said, you don't overcome that kind of insular viewpoint by going into its spaces and arguing with it. What it cheifly needs is air and light, some encounters with reality. But this lady has all the experience she could have, as a physician. Her lens of interpretation is very set and is being applied constantly to encounters in this space. And the cost to her, if she admitted she was wrong, would be insanely high. What seems preferrable: to believe that she's a hero helping and saving these kids, or a monster, mutilating and deranging them? I have my grandfather watches, who is a pediatrician for over 50 years. He is infuriated. Besides the fact that they don’t have to take an ethical anymore to be a doctor. They are literally killing children day by day he quoted by the undescribable unmoral unethical nonsense that these people are saying. He said that child protective services should be called on every household and these doctors should definitely have their license taken away from them.

I would say a lot of teens who hit puberty freak out about the changes in their body. Certainly does not mean we should be using hormone blockers or having sex changes. What it does mean is that they need someone to talk to them and explain it is NORMAL to feel uncomfortable about the changes in their body and their development and it will be ok and they will get through it.

By far, I am not a Matt Walsh fan, but this film was excellently created. It honestly raised a lot of questions that made me check myself. Like, are we buying into transgenderism because we believe in it, or are we doing our best to be nice. What affect will it have on us to completely accept things simply to be nice.
