This is probably the coolest looking trick I've seen since the "kickflip"

Matty is so good at random tricks because first hes skilled, but second, he never gives up. If you keep trying, you will eventually get it, so never give up no matter how hard something is.

So I have a crazy idea for that seat. It's kinda like a cliff hanger in motocross but you pop up and grab the seat with your feet and do a body varial while holding the seat with your feet.

Best part of this video is vin landing that front flip. Wasnt it the front flip that broke his foot not once but twice at the incline club if I remember correctly? Happy to see him pull it. Good work vin!

Working in my bike shop all day today, and watching the Scotty Cranmer Channel makes for a great afternoon.

Soooo much progression man, wow! I remember Vinny sending the front flip over the second box at the Incline Club back in the day, I guess I forgot how long it’s been. Everyone crushed it, Brad is the man with that backflip turndown, I love seeing Jay just doing his thing which is beyond crazy. I love these Woodward sessions so much!

Throwback trick challenge: there was an old flatland trick called the “sit & spin” …that seat post is MADE for that trick

We need to see these Tricks: Dragonslayer Seat Spin out. Or more difficult, Seat Spin to Dragonslayer Seat Spin out. Spencer should have those easy! Toboggan to Seat Spin. Barspin Seat Spin. Body Varial to Seat Spin. Seat Spin to X-up ride a bank/quarter to Seat Spin Bar revert back into bank/quarter. Add in Manual if you feeling crazy! Also it might be a interesting option for Flatlanders to vary some of their tricks or find new tricks.

Funnily enough here in NZ, I was hanging with a German bmxer one day, he snapped the seat post thingy so it freely spun. And spent that day doing em. Bar seat spin. Fun trick and glad it's used. It's up there with the mailbox or tbog back wheel grab

I know Scotty challenged him to seat grab after mentioning he couldn't air out but learning seat or tire grabs helps you understand how to launch, he low-key helping em on with that lil advice or challenge

I dont think the seat spin actually comes thru well, Im going to say if you had like a 2 colored seat something like red / white it would really telegraph better. I will say that it is actually pretty cool and could see that being a new added trick to others

I definitely agree that it needs to be done from a superman seat grab. I think Cory could do that bike spin. Once you get fully extended on the superman I think getting the bike around wouldn't be a problem. Need huge air tho

I think the motion would be fluid if he threw it up throwing the bars down on the raise up extending with the seat grab then throwing it down when the front end gets about 5 o'clock to get the bike spin momentum but pull it back and let go of the seat near the end of lowering the bike down so he can grab the bars and land on the pedals is what it seems like to me also clicking the seat back into locked position before letting go will probably be the stabilizer near the end to dial it in

That seat post thing might be one of the blind alleys of bmx development, it seems pretty well made so maybe the French dudes will come up with something else. It's cool you tried it though.
