The fact Matty held his own and placed as well as he did say's a lot about his riding skills. These kids literally practice every single day, day in and day out. Racing is their lives and they constantly train. Matty does so much other stuff in BMX that it isn't his primary focus. I think if he was to get very serious about racing and get in best shape of his life that he could definitely place on podium for sure.
