Respect. I fly one myself used a dog pen pole. Its longer, which I like. Proud of a Brazilian flying the American flag. I've had natural born Americans call me a racist for flying it.

Looks great Matt! As a member of the Patriot Guard Riders, I have flown the US flag on my bike for years, and am especially proud to do so on the 4th. We’ve discovered that even with the best made flags you can’t exceed 50 mph without shredding them. As a solution we paint or dip the outer edge of the flag (that opposite the pole) in Future CLEAR acrylic floor wax, allow it to dry and you can increase your speed without damaging your flag. I dip my flags (I often fly flags of the 5 branches of the military) and they are all still intact. Great job, hopefully others will follow your lead.

I'm so happy you fixed the flag the RIGHT WAY. The Unions are ALWAYS to be displayed to your left when you stand in front of it. A very great video but I wanna let you know on a few pointers yeah sometimes going cheap is the best route but in this case I don’t want you to lose your flag those plastic things you have on there that tend to break easily I would know I used to have them just literally outside on my house and you would need a taller pole to make the flag fly tighter against the pole so you don’t have that weird wavy affect because I do not know if you got a 3 x 5 American flag or a 4 x 6 because I know you got a nylon American flag so I would recommend taking those plastic things off Getting a longer pole even if it’s too long you can cut it down and to make it even look better you can spray paint it with rust oleum black to get all the hand writing off of it and to even prevent rust overtime put eyebolts on the top and bottom and you can even use those quick links that you had The flag can have some give but not a lot so I fly is nice and tight and It would look good
