Went to sleep to this, but as a Oregonian and Ex-volunteer of the oregon coast aquarium for three years it was so cool to hear you talk about all the cool stuff the coast has to offer, I’ve been to all the places you mentioned and they’re all super awesome, thanks for giving those underrated spots a place to shine! :3

It's crazy hearing about Oregon in asmr lol. And I just went to new port aquarium a couple weeks ago! Perfect weather, not too many people. The aquarium is small but beautiful and fun! I loved the shark tunnels the most, I didn't want to leave lol

Fun fact, most name brand hotels have stoped serving room service as an amenity as during covid it was not in use. This started with Marriott and other brands followed suit. If Marriott does something big, most others will as well.

@@kaydenhutchcraft4425 The cost of having it is very high these days. You have to have someone on staff who will run the food up and someone to cook it. And if you don’t have a full kitchen then the room service would be mostly pre prepared stuff. So taking that prepared stuff and the extra pay out of the hotels pay saves a lot. Expecially when it’s not used as much these days now since Uber eats/doordash is a thing.

Hotels that didn't have restaurants rarely, if ever, had room service to begin with... They don't pay a special person to run food up the rooms either, anyone on staff can do it or restaurant staff would do it if it was attached to the hotel. In fact, if you Google "Marriott room service" the first option is their in room service...I don't know what you're talking about lol

@@fortunax22 you would pay someone on staff extra to be a runner or add someone else to a shift that would odd wise be off shift. I work in hospitality I’ve experience this first hand.
