Next time, argue with an actual map in place (history and present). Media should also stop playing fools. Get a map on the screen and all the survey documentation (history), so that we get the gist of this story

There comes a time when we must negate this politicians the power to shape our countries destiny and especially when environmental issues are at stake. We have politicized the mau conservation efforts far too long . Just like we forcefully evicted residents who had occupied the langata road reserve in kibera let encroachers leave MAU and lets be mindful of the generations to come.

Save the Mau. Kenya is already 70% Arid and Semi Arid. HOWEVER, if the government was really serious, it could recover corruption proceeds and use that to resettle the populace. Then, no one would complain.

Jeff you should have organised a big screen so that we can get a feel of the real issue on the ground. The senator has now resorted to explaining this on a piece of paper which the viewers are not able to see.Even Ruto is using citizen's cushion to explain the topography.Its kind of hilarious.WORD OF THE DAY -CUTLINE

There are people in prison with families/kids/basic needs. You do not grab public land (and cry foul). They ended up in the forest illegally (even if they were duped) and have no legal reason to remain there.

Stop politicising Mau issue time and again. People you evicted are surviving under abject poverty and impoverishment. On the other hand, others are facing rough times of perennial droughts especially the Masai. Its, simple, these people have nowhere to go, compensate them! That will solve the whole problem.

Kalenjins don't care about the forest because they don't have severe droughts. Maasais on the other hand have suffered seriously. The maasais are the ones being evicted but the Kalenjins have not yet been touched yet they're the loudest. Mtajua hamjui.

Kipsigis people have land in kericho which is being occupied by British land owners who are growing profitable tea but which doesn't benefit the kipsigis of kericho one single bit. Thus Murkomen and arap mashamba should take their people back to kericho county and invade those British owned farms and settle their kipsigis there. Failure to that I see the hippos and the crocodiles of the Mara getting fat very soon.
