I don’t care what anybody says, my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE storyline from GH with these two was when Morgan was officially diagnosed with bipolar disorder! The way Bryan brought out all the feels of someone dealing with bipolar and seeing the father/son dynamic between Morgan and Sonny. Maurice and Bryan you are amazing actors! Maurice you are awesome as Sonny! Bryan you were amazing as Morgan and Javi! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Totally know what being with a narcissist means. Married to one for 20 years. When I finally left the relationship I suffered with depression and panic attacks. It really isn’t talked about enough. On the brighter side it’s been over 20 years since I left. Life is much better. Hang in there. Loved the mini series you were in. Sad they didn’t renew it

This was one of the most profound State of Mind podcasts yet. Thank you both for sharing your hearts, your pain, and your getting through it again like Paula encourages. I'm going to share this with both my adult children. I remember being in therapy and being told we all tend to carry a bucket of shxt around with us from our lives. The bad times, we allow someone else to take the lid off and stir it around and sling it all over us or worse, we do it to them. The greatest day is when we decide we don't need to carry that bucket around anymore. We're done with it. We're done with the shxt stirrers who try to make us stink and who cover us in it to the point we can't function or don't want to function. The ones we let rent space in our heads. The ones we let ourselves love who only love themselves and who make us think we're the confused, and they gaslight us, and we become the ones doubting everything we know about ourselves to the point we don't even know who we are anymore. Thank God, Mo has Paula, so grounded and honest. I think Brian hit is when mentioned Mexico City briefly and the awful trauma he suffered. But it can also happen in the day to day of just normal life like when he talked about living and being Morgan more than he was living and being Brian. It can happen in love relationships, parent/child relationships, and work. I wish you both peace, good sleep, freedom from anxiety, and lots of great acting scenes. Brian, we miss you as Morgan something fierce on GH. The Corinthos family needs you now more than ever with Sonny off playing poker. Anyway, regarding insomnia and heart pounding dreams, I had a stranger on a plane to Rome who just happened to be a former AP editor tell me to sleep with a Rosary under my pillow while I slept. Maybe it would help you two men, too. All the best! Never forget: You're in charge of your own bucket and your own lid and whether you even want to carry it around anymore.

OMG, I love the bucket and lid analogy! So true. Good healing, guys.
@sweetmama2277
@sweetmama2277 3 жыл бұрын
@@cathiprevie3968 it really worked for me in family relationships like why am I allowing this person to do this and some days, even worse, why am I doing it to myself? It is so profound when you give yourself permission to STOP lugging it around and to STOP letting other people have that power over you. Mo said on another podcast to make yourself get out of bed. That one has stuck with me on the bad days. Get out of bed. Just do it. You can't get better if you're wallowing in bed.

Sometimes in life, you don’t know what positive or negative energy person’s will add to your life. The good thing is that you realize who you are to get out of that situation. I believe Bryan is still affected by what has happened to him. I wish I now what cause the aggression has a child, but It’s good talking about it that’s help. Don’t be afraid of sleeping. What helps me sleep is inspirational music or positive message. What we listen to can relax our thoughts in our dream. Great Review Maurice and Bryan you’ll be fine keep being positive.

Bryan....you verbalized classic gaslighting from a narcissist...."Gaslighting is a form of psychological abuse where a person makes someone question their sanity, perception of reality, or memories. People experiencing gaslighting often feel confused, anxious, and unable to trust themselves." Therapy will help you get through it....be well....

I can relate to having bad panic attacks. I’ve gone three times to the hospital over the years because of them. I started getting them when I was about 19 and still get them to some degree all these years later. They used to be really bad, lasting hours sometimes. Those were the really bad ones, but on average mine would last at least an hour. I wish he’d come back to GH, I miss him. He was so good at portraying Morgan. Another great show.

I so relate to PTSD and anxiety personally as well as depression. My Gram had Alzheimer's and I took care of her and that was hard. Now taking care of my Nana who just recently went delirious, almost requested a exorcism as my Nana would never. I've learnt so much about the mind and if you ever need stories I got loads. Thanks for getting the message out.

You r not alone in what u r experiencing. Keep talking n sharing. It does take time to heal from the damage a narcissistic relationship causes. U r a talented actor. Keep moving forward n never give up. There r many support groups n therapy to help u through this bump in the road. ❤️💪
