Maurice Kirya held an intimate up-close & personal concert at The Uganda National Cultural Center as an effort to create more awareness about the historical theater and to encourage artists to consider smaller venues as an option. Small venues matter just as much as big venues. Maurice Kirya performed in the small historic theater that sits 300 people, just a month after selling out a 2000 sitter venue at the Serena Kampala Hotel.
