This song was birthed on the road (Maurice Kirya RFI music tour in 2010)
Being a fan of story telling, when I performed this song, it had never been recorded before so I had the luxury of stretching the story to all sorts of different directions, I did not even know the title to my own song so people kept screaming from the audience « please sing the blue dress song » and after the show everyone referred to it as the blue dress song! 😁
And that’s how it got it’s name.
