This film concerns the destinies of three young men, Mahmoud, Taleb and Boubacar.
From deepest Mauritania where traditions based on a nomadic lifestyle are still strong. Their lives unfold with few surprises from dawn till dusk surrounded by the sands of the Sahara desert. One of the young men lives in the west on the Atlantic coast bordering; other lives in the centre of the country on the edge of strange,
jagged outcrops that dominate the heights of the Adrar plateau. The third is based in the South-West near the Senegal River, where ethnic mixing and cultural exchanges are the most developed. Same age and also the same unique, profound regard that reflects confidence and serenity.
Their story is that of simple and debonair young men seeking to be true to an ideal and a faith fashioned and formed by the vast expanses of sand and the desert winds. -

Rajar, it isn’t that it’s stress-free, nobody is saying that, certainly not the subjects of the documentary. But it’s how you handle that daily stress, and what you choose to do with it, that ultimately affects how you view it. Maybe they are so at peace with the processes of daily life, and making something from nothing, that they start viewing it less as stress and more of a moving meditation, so to speak. Such as the man at the beginning, sitting with children eating oranges, pushing a little toy around, talking about his childhood. He’s reflective, and honors the past, present and future generations… no time to be stressed in that mindset. As he said, there’s no reason for his monthly visits home, just that he feels he must pay respects. To all the generations, too.

The country of Mauritania is not bordered by Morocco to the north as stated by this video, but, in fact the country of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic is to the north. The SADR has been recognized by more than eighty UN states to date. Morocco has occupied this land belonging to the much smaller population of Sahrawis and forced these peoples to live out in the desert for fifty years. Yet no country has tried to sanction the Moroccans as they have Russia over the Ukraine.

I guess it's the hospitality law of the desert that gives these people the idea that they could wander into our country and live like guests for as long as they like at our expense. @thomas samson and i know very well i will have to answer my sins and misbehaviors. Though exploitation is not one of them. As i said : exploitation IS a human trait. A Bad trait. And NOT a religious trait. Even yes thé Qur'an has spoken about it . It was thé first religion to have encouraged setting free slaves. In Islam a slave is equal to a king. In islam white is equal to black. Rich or poor... No difference. Poor Will enter Paradise BEFORE rich People... That religion is misunderstood and abused... Btw non muslims and sectarian muslim. ... No ignorance will kill me. A minority of muslims abuse People, abuse their wealth, abuse their religion.

The land of my people , the real the original Amagizhs ( Born of Noble Birth , Free-Men ) all of the Northwest and Southwestern shores of Africa were inhabitants by the Amagizhs, even across the Atlantic Ocean into North America belongs to the Amagizhs. The only reason why Northern Africa has a lighter complexion is because the Moors amalgamated with the Southern Europeans of Europe . Which created a new race , Hybrids, the same as the Moors did in Italy, when the Moors created another Hybrid race called Sicilians . The Moors made a big mistake when they mixed Seed with the Pale Race, which was forbidden to do . This is why the dark Olive complexed people are no longer present, because of amalgamation .
