Here’s how our lunar new year celebration 2021 went! Yea, i Know am a bit late since it’s already been 1 month since CNY is over but better late than never hehe!

Honestly speaking, it was my first lunar new year celebration in Mauritius. We did not really celebrate chinese new year in mauritius last year because there was a cyclone at that time.
I remember we were eating at a restaurant in 2020 and the restaurant told us we had to leave after 1 hour because there was a cyclone warning class 3 in Mauritius.
Chinese spring festival in mauritius this year in 2021 was somewhat back to a normal and thankfully it was before the lockdown.

Back to our chinese new year 2021 celebration. And btw, did you ever experience the dragon dance chinese new year in mauritius? This is one of the most fun things people enjoy watching.
People from all different backgrounds and communities will gather to watch that wherever they are. You can see from the video.
And another thing people enjoy is definitely the chinese new year food! Restaurants will be putting promotions for those packages.

WE LOVE CHINESE NEW YEAR! We are just so sad that we weren't able to celebrate it with our family this year. Last year we were able to see family and have a nice meal right before the pandemic. It is so interesting to see everyone's different traditions as they are each so special. Steamed Pork Belly looks YUMM! Love how you guys went to an event at a hotel afterwards to promote Chinese traditions! The best really like you said is to spend time with family. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM TOO!!! That hotel food looks SOOOO YUMYYYY. Great video buddy! We enjoyed the whole video!

@@kelvinballoo We were in Bali which is where we are now. We have been here for one year plus! Hopefully we will catch up on videos but we did post updates while we were here :) I created a playlist too!
