Its really a coincidence that you posted this video today. Yesterday i went to the cemetery where the people were buried that lost there lives on the titanic. The official titanic burial site . Was sad to see all the graves and small children and young people. This is in Halifax , Nova Scotia , Canada .

I'm so jealous I'm a huge titanic nerd my late nan used to work for the ismay family n I live a couple of miles from the ismay family home in Cumbria England I would give my left arm to be able to visit the graves of the victims n leave flowers in respect but sadly it won't happen in my lifetime lol so I'm really jealous I've seen videos of the grave yard but I bet it doesn't best the real thing 🙂

It’s a shame that no one cleans those absolutely gorgeous headstones. Here in America we have a few people who repair and clean the very old cemetery stones. There is one who shares the content on this platform and it’s very interesting to see. His channel is called the Millennial stone cleaner in case you are interested in seeing him repair the very old headstones. The difference between the styles of the headstones is so very interesting because so many Irish came to the United States and brought their hard work ethic and knowledge to our country to make it into the wonderful place that it is. Love your channel thank you for sharing your adventures with us.

Wow. Lovely old graveyard. The Andrews family were obviously a well-to-do family, to have the beautiful looking mausoleum. Maybe when people found out who the family was, may have thought about kidnapping the body of Thomas and hold him for ransom?? I dont know. But that's probably why they were all buried underneath instead of on the shelvss?? Again i dont rightly know. Great video GV. Keep tyem coming.
@CraigBarron-os9itАй бұрын
@@snickers2877 ahh I forgot about Thomas going down with the ship. Thank you for reminding me about that. With the door, I'm wondering if the locking mechanism is broken?? That would be something to find out about, as you are right, those cremains should not be just left by an open door like that, it's so sad.
@darthsentinelАй бұрын
I’m not sure if anyone else has mentioned it, but the urn marked “Elizabeth Andrews” who passed away in 1973 does, in fact, contain the remains of the daughter of Titanic-architect Thomas Andrews. She was 17 months old when her father died in the sinking.

The body of Thomas Andrews was never found, lost at sea. Many people interested in Titanic are not aware that Mr. Andrews had wanted enough lifeboats for everyone on board as well as watertight bulkheads that would completely seal. White Star management overruled it due to the increased cost. Had his original engineering design been approved, the infamous event would have turned out quite differently and the ship might not even have sunk. The irony is that the man who likely decided this, namely J. Bruce Ismay, survived the sinking.

Cathal ….i am hearing impaired and as a result i have captions. Your accent really messes the AI writer sometimes… 33 and a third is interpreted as “dirty green turd” i spat my coffee at that one. Hey Grave Visitations have you ever visited Gettysburg/cemeteries around it?
@GraveVisitationsАй бұрын
Is that in US?
@margiesusan5022Ай бұрын
@@GraveVisitations Yes, one of the biggest battles of the civil war, there are mass graves there and the surrounding churches have civil war dead as well…many churches from the period too, old houses from the period with bullet holes from the battle etc…the whole town is an eerie vibe. That was the battle of North vs South, slave holding country or was everyone free. Other interesting grave visitations here are in New Orleans 😳😳😳 The water table’s so high that they’re primarily above ground mausoleums, including the voodoo priestess Madame Laveau among many others. When people die in NoLa as it’s affectionately known it’s not uncommon for the funeral procession to be accompanied by marching musicians as the mourners walk behind…life and death is incredibly different in New Orleans. 🪦

@steellio5526Ай бұрын
It is. Unfortunately in today's political climate enforced pregnancies nationwide will see the repeat of childbirth deaths for both mother and child. Sadly, as the population has grown along with the gap between rich and poor, there could be even greater numbers of deaths.
