Slide is blockable on wake up, you can not count its dmg in combos, amplified ground flame in corners is fully punishable, even after a blocked slide as a "cover up". Amplified ground flame is fully punishable anywhere else on screen by most characters by jumping over the slide after amplified ground flame wakes you up (death spin). Amplified ground flame is only safe after foward 3,4 (no slides needed) or back 2 slide whit Mavado.

You most definitely know what you talking about i respect that 💯 since i got mavado i have noticed everything you saying I still say they should give him a little bit more of a buff. Or tweak his style to be more efficient as far as faster. Game play to be with the main cuz to me. It just seems like the main character is doing what they have to do and he's kind of slow. Which is I mean? I get it cause he's a new character. But what if you really need him? And he don't come out at the right time or like when he do come out. He's not doing what he should as a cameo. Then I mean, the main has to go back to doing the best that the character can do to try to stay alive. I don't know, it's weird. It's complicated but I already most definitely do respect your video I respect that.

I think Mavado definitely has his perks. I think the ground trap and the slide are his biggest assets. Unfortunately, he is lacking in options. I still think Janet is probably the best cameo. She has tons of options. I think the only cameo that can be considered better than Janet is chameleon. The only thing I don't like about chameleon is you have to pay attention to what mode she is in. Just my two cents. Thanks for the great content @diff

His best kameo in my opinion. Khameleon got a scaling nerf already so she's no longer worth it imo. Plus you can also get a 57% fatal blow combo off with Mavado. Combo into ground flames with 3, 3 and throw out the electric trap, then ground flame enhanced and pop up with 3,2 into 2, enhanced teleport , 1,2 enhanced air spear, then 1,1,1 (111 for the corner, for mid screen just use 3 before they land) into spear, and finally 4, FB. You can also just use two bars without the teleport for maybe 10% less damage

All these long combos in fighting games have ruined them all, armor moves also. It's just not fun. Haven't touched mk1 since Dec. Ruined my fave franchise of all time.

Honest question. Do people Really like this game? Do you really think it’s better than MK11? I can’t stand MK1. The game play is choppy, the punches sound like a game from 1984, the skins suck and are weird to a certain point and I don’t like the cameo play. Also the scaling is ridiculous. Toward the end of a combo you’re doing as much damage as chip damage. STUPID.
