From 1980 through 1988, Alaska had video-documented unnatural, disturbing activity. As above, so below: from deep sea discoveries, to parallel universes.
Tonight, we tune into Arcadia TV.
Big shout out to ‪@ChillingAbyss‬ for creating this series.

I went to Alaska in early December for, no joke, a swim meet (ncaa college swimming is a winter sport and it was indoors). It was incredible, and seeing the northern lights was a whole experience in itself. But being in a place where the sun didn't appear until around 10am, never fully getting to high noon, and then setting around 3pm was a very bizarre experience. I felt almost... alien? Lol but the strangest sight there was seeing all the locals walk around in t-shirts in -12 Fahrenheit!

Considering how Alaska is roughly 2.5 larger then Texas and how remote it is, it's VERY conceivable that a bunch of cryptids are living there and in The Yukon. Case in point: The Waheela, a super wolf that is known for biting off the heads of people.

Why would Alaska's size and relative remoteness mean any cryptids live there? Cryptids are highly unlikely to exist at all. At best they make for a few decent stories. Most of the so called "sightings" are at night, distorted view. The human mind and imagination fills in gaps when we see or think we see some odd things at night. Some deformed animals are the most likely actual sightings and stories get told and made up and twisted and retold over and over again until the original tale isn't even recognizable anymore. There are so many ways the brain can be twisted to believe the most unlikely and outrageous stuff. Just look at religions and God's. Superstitions and stories that people what so badly to believe are true they trick their own mind into believing it.

The signal to other universes makes me think of something talked about in the Three Bodies Problem books, specifically the Dark Forrest Hypothesis. It assumes that the universe is full of life, but all of it is hostile or potentially hostile. The idea is that remaining hidden from other planets, and refusing to communicate with earth avoids revealing themselves, and putting them in the crosshairs of a more advanced, more hostile civilization. That's kinda what happened here. A reality far more advanced than ours detected us communicating with PW1, and, being a hostile universe, came to destroy us and them.

I have lived in Anchorage my entire life, so I’ve never really got an idea of how vast Alaska really is until recently. We have a cabin north east of anchorage and during the winter we go snow machining. My dad has been doing this for years but I never went snow machining with him until last winter. We rode to Susitna Landing which really only exists because of the post office. The ride was about 30 miles if I remember correctly and it was a lot of fun to rip over frozen lakes (I think I hit 80mph at one point). But when you stop to take a look around you it’s entirely barren, especially when we took a less traveled trail at some point. All there is is some frail ever green trees scattered extremely sparsely with a light trail going as far as the eye can see. It’s eerie, you couldn’t hear or see any form of life, only what they have left behind. But then you are met with beauty and that dread goes away when the mist clears and you see Denali towering over the tree tops. And to think I only got the smallest percent of the true awe that is the tundra of Alaska. 10/10 would have a existential crisis again.

thank you for introducing me to this series, i watched it all immediately and fell in LOVE. the realization that all you have to do to invite the horrors in was a simple "Hello." the little girl in the bedroom, the man in the cave, the Hello? to the third universe... in all three cases, whatever was on the receiving side of that simple greeting learned their identity, approached, and then... something happened. it just hit me so hard during THE SIGNAL that made me realize the true depths of this interdimensional cosmic horror. it's AMAZING!!! personally i have a theory but my main prediction is that things might get like a mix of Mandela Catalog and Midwest Angelika real soon, and their editing skill and sound design has the potential to really make it HIT.

It's like in the appalachian mountains, you're not to answer if something calls you're name or tries to speak to you, you're not to whistle at night and you're not to look up into the trees otherwise entities might get you. Also they say dealing with faries can be the same you shouldn't speak to them unless you know what you're doing and you should never have a welcome mat or sign (or other welcoming fraises) as it can invite the faries or other entities into your house.

@@BucketHeadianHagg Don't worry about it, a lot of people see this kind of stuff (which is known as unfiction or alternate reality games) and don't realize that it isn't meant to be taken literally as truth - it's sort of like watching a movie in which everything that happens is only supposed to have happened in the movie. It just rubs me the wrong way when people (and not just you, a ton of people in the comments did the same thing) all just say fake!!! Like of course it's fake, it's like calling Harry Potter fake - it's not supposed to be true! Thank you Maverick for turning me on to some more shit-yer-pants Analogue Horror - a genre I love, particularly when it's a small creator on their own or little team. The "Hollywood" forays into this genre have generally been crap. I played "Empty Towns" to my wife yesterday (she digs stuff like this, stuff like you see on NoSleep and those tales. I love them. I think since Subscribing about a week or so ago, I've been checking out your content. Sir, your videos are A1 top notch brilliant. You sound young (no slur - I DO remember being young!), but your presentation, your narration, your scripts, are professional grade. Your videos, editing, stock footage used nicely (warped, colour-reversed, chopped up) and easy on the eyes. It's the easy option to just hammer the stock stuff *as is* and then it loses individuality. You are getting everything right. I wish you every success with your channel - may it grow and prosper and mature gracefully like a fine wine. You have talent and you are way beyond some more "professional" channels I could mention. Well, this old fart has rambled on too long. Keep up the ace work, and good vibes and Blessings from a small island in Northern Europe 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍

It didn't need the eyes and hydrophone squeal. Now I'm already disillusioned and kinda uninterested in the rest of the tapes. I guess I'll edit in any further thoughts after watching but guys. Please. Horror creators: jumpscares like that are so overdone and cheap. It didn't even work on me because I expected it, it just made me roll my eyes and lose 99% of my interest. Stop. The moment right beforehand with the movement in the bottom right corner was *perfect* and the feed could've cut out there, boom cool mystery and viewer imagination runs wild. Stop. Using. Jumpscares.

And this is why I keep a chunk of cold-wrought iron near my bed, just in case any fae try to mess with me when I'm trying to sleep. It's also handy for normal interlopers too, but not for the same reason.

I always hate how there's so many analog horrors that revolves around video games or you but it isn't you, or a monster that just randomly appears with no reason. But this has a certain charm to it that I adore, I hope there'll be more of these parallel universe horror tales, because as theoretical is it may be, the idea of contacting a universe that is disgusting is more realistic due to actual modern science, I have my own fears of an unknown that we eventually want to learn, doing something we aren't suppose to do

I find it so so so typical. Tbh it would be way more interesting if the distorted universe thing wasn't some evil thing sl much as a bizarre, distorted, but ultimately Benevolent. Tbh the distortion= basis like, every fuckin analog series. Madela catalogue, liminal land, marble hornets. Like oh no. It's glitching. So scary. The idea of an alternate, clean, but deeply evil universe would be far more interesting

I don't typically care much for creepy pastas, but I figured I'd watch this one because you have a great choice to listen to. I do hope the next upload is more non fiction though.

In your spines? Wait, how many do you have? Not to judge, but any more than one is kinda unusual.

It's close to criminal that the original creator sits on laughable 5k views with les than 4k subs while almost 220k people watched this video. This is quality stuff that should be seen by much more people.
