5:26 Audio Sonification does not mean thats what the object in the picture sounds like. The brightness values of the individual pixels are "mapped" to specific frequencies, which then make up the sound. You could do this to a picture of a Cow licking its nose and get the same result.

That wailing ghost gave me goosebumps. Once, while visiting my grandmother in Mexico, I woke up to hearing something similar. It sounded far away. My grandmother lives on a mountainside, near a river. The next morning, my uncle came to breakfast and said he couldn't sleep because all he could hear was "La Llorona" at night.

The blackhole is simply movements of data that are far removed from "sound" it's ludicrous they even release this stuff. The back hole audio is simply a note synthesized from a several light year long strip of an x-ray image taken of the back hole. This strip is rotated through the centre (as shown in the companion graphic) and then transposed into human audible range. It's extremely arbitrary, you'd get similar results by applying this technique to a photo of anything and is nothing but a gimmick with no scientific value.

I mean, it's just the unsettling context of the videos. If this was a party with lots of people and he walked into the room, then you heard that voice you wouldn't find it very creepy. It's only because you've been primed for a scare that you find it scary.

The growl sounds like a glitch in the recorder he’s using. It’s the exact sound of a tremolo self oscillating. The mic was cutting in and out very fast.

6:40 That was my evp, the microphone I was using was whatever was attached to the laptop. I'm glad you added it, I know it's real but it's incredibly difficult for people to just listen to it and believe it. I was the only one in the room. Every sound came from the hole in the ceiling. I didn't touch the laptop while recording, I left the room. Thanks for adding it though 😀 Also that growl really messes me up to this day

You'll never be able to find a "legit ghost video" because ghosts aren't real, if they were they would need to obey the law of physic just like everything else in the universe, even the void of space obeys to its laws, example, if a ghosts was able to touch anything, it means it's made out of atoms, which then means you would be able to literally touch/kick the shit out of a ghost, if it was able to see, it means it needs to have eyes and a brain, which generates electromagnetic energy which we would be able to easily capture, the fact that it doesn't it means it has none, if a supposed ghost doesn't produce any kind of energy whatsoever it means it just doesn't exist since everything in the universe produces energy that we can easily pick up, go on and so forth. TLDR Ghosts aren't real, but doesn't mean you can't enjoy spooky videos, just like scary movies

Over lockdown, I filmrd a series of "haunted" encounters. Provided videos, photos, audio, a history for the location with evidence to back it all up. Paranormal investigators and podcast creators came round and interviewed me and captured their own evidence. This went on for over six months. And all of it was fake. I let the podcasters know, and the investigators, how I did it etc. They were unhappy. Anyway, my point is, I was able to create something incredibly authentic and film it, with very little effort and on a whim. Ever since, I can't take these haunting videos seriously. Because of how easy it was to fake for me

It's ridiculous that NASA even realise that garbage. That is not what it sounds like... that is what a couple of light year wide static x-ray image of the blackhole sounds like when you run the pixel data through a synthesiser and shift the signal into human hearing range. You can basically do the same with any picture and get similar results it's an entirely arbitrary process with data sampled in such a way to produce that exact eerie sound because they wanted it to be like that.

My nephew was 3 or 4 yrs old. He sat in a corner having a conversation. He got up & stomped to the kitchen. Dad asked what was wrong. Nephew simply said “Uncle Sal. I’m thirsty…” He got my nephew a drink of water. Within 15 min he got a call. “Uncle Sal passed away, I’m so sorry.” He asked when it happened- It lined up with my nephew’s little corner convo w/ “uncle sal.” Not only had my nephew never met him? He never heard his name previous. His dad adopted him into his fam after he married my sis- he was almost 3, and had not even met most of dad’s family yet cuz they lived out of town. Kids are creepy. Very in touch with the stuff. I know of/ experienced others but, another time.

I agree with you, I never buy the “ghost” sounds either… it’s typically always a channel that does paranormal investigating for views and it just comes off as clickbait.

Actually EVPs are often difficult to pickup because most voice recorders designed in modern times have a circuit that eliminates background noise, it all started with that famous recorder one of the first digital recorders designed by panasonic in the 80s that people purchased for their business recordings. The people using these devices complained because they found disembodied voices on their recordings and instead of believing it was ghosts they complained to panasonic who then built the rest of their future recorders with the first commercial background noise elimination circuits. Now if your recorder is built with that circuit it cannot be used for EVPs because the circuit eliminates EVP voices from being heard by the mic. To be clear, EVPs are voice phenomenon that happen on recorders when no one in the room heard anything out loud.

spirit boxes are a relatively new invention, people have been recording evps for long time before such things, and just on normal recording devices even - sometimes faint, sometimes eerily clearly discernable as a disembodied voice. the voice saying help us is a believable as many other recordings. the video i dont believe is that guy in the office with the figure behind him in the room , his actions just seem really rehearsed sounding

I'm not buying the first one. There could have been a radio or recording responsible for that noise, and if he's been getting better equipment then who's to say he didn't buy a very high quality radio or speaker to make it sound authentic? Also, when he throws the water, the wailing actually seems to intensify right before he throws the water, which to me indicates that he was waiting for a cue to throw the water so that the audio would line up with his actions. The last video, however, is creepy af, Of all of these that's the one I think is most likely to be genuine.

That we can view an optical illusion but are unable to correct the abberation our brain depicts to us, even once it's explained to us why it occurs, is an easily digestible example of how powerful, how complex the mind can be. A couple of (not always) well timed sound effects along with a moving chair are so simplistic as compared to, for example, Michelangelo seeing David in a block of marble or Einstein visualising space and time as one. And on a personal level, apparitions are almost always dressed in clothing of their period - modesty seems the least of their concerns but I digress - no one has explained to me how the apparitions clothing passed. All that being said, I still enjoy scaring the bejeebus out of myself, so thank you for the excellent work you do in creating your videos!
